OBJECTIVE
Technician with twenty-five years in Consumer Electronics repair, specializing in high
definition television for the last 10 years, looking for a position in the television service field
or other consumer electronics field.

QUALIFICATIONS
Troubleshooting and repair of all types of television displays including both component and
board level repair, and in-home and shop bench servicing of most major brands of
televisions. Specialized in Mitsubishi, Sony, LG, and Samsung flat panel, rear-projection,
cathode ray tube, liquid crystal display, and plasma display panels.

I started out my career with a small mom and pop dealer, servicing direct view televisions of
GE, RCA, and Zenith brands so lots of soldering and component replacements, including
picture tubes. Over the years I have done everything, from replacing optic block assemblies
to liquid crystal displays, and installing new sets with installation crew, when business was
short on time or help.

I have had extensive training, from 1985-2010, including, LG, Mitsubishi, Pioneer, Sony,
Samsung, RCA, Zenith. Rear-projection, DLP, direct-view LCD, and plasma have dominated
in-home and shop repairs for last five years of service. Most recently I have replaced
numerous LCD displays, especially Samsung OEM for Sony and Mitsubishi, 40 to 52 inch
display sizes, and repaired power-integrated boards on LCD and Plasma product. I have
done board replacement where necessary on both Plasma and LCD, main, sustain, logic
-control, t-con, and Plasma panels too. I am proficient in the use of signal generators,
oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and soldering equipment.

Specialized in direct-view, rear-projection, CRT, DLP, LCD,L COS, and LCD AND
PLASMA. Authorized servicer for Sony, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Sharp, Pioneer, LG-
Zenith, and Samsung. In February Robert Paul TV closed due to the poor
economy. Service was still good. We had several home theater companies
that brought in service work. When I started in 2002, I was the outside
service technician for two years. In 2004 I became the lead technician, doing
both inside and outside service work.

makes of television. The J of the Company wanted to purchase Ron & Primo’s
to be closer to home in 1991, ending J+R TV. In 1990 Jimmy’s TV in St. Paul
was purchased by J+R, giving us a second location.
