BattleMountainHighSchoolandisnotonlyinvolvedinmanyactivitiesonandoffcampus,butalsopursuesher
manypassionsandgoals.ForAnabellifeisaboutenjoyingit'saboutnotonlydoingeverythingyouneedtodobut
gettingtimeforyourselfaswelltobeabletoenjoywhatyou'redoing.Shewantstobeknownnotonlyassomeone
whoalwaysworkedtheirhardestateverythingbutatthesametimewasthereforothersandmadeadifferenceinher
communityandwithherpeers.

whenschoollunchprogramsendandfamilybudgetsgettighter.ThisInteGreat!poweredprogramcoincideswithEagleCounty
School'sGreatStartpreschoolandtheYouthFoundation'sSummerPwrHrs.Twoofthreesummersiteswillbeopentothe
community,whereallchildrenages0to18yearsoldwillbeautomaticallyeligibleforafreemeal.
Wearerequestingsupportinthreeways:
Volunteers:Withthedonationofyourlunchhour,achildwillhaveaccesstoahealthymeal.Asavolunteer,youmaybewelcominganddirectingfamilies,
countingattendance,servingfruitsandvegetables,helpinggetthewordoutabouttheprogram,orprovidingawarm,lovingadultpresenceinthelunchroom.
VolunteerpositionsareavailablebydayorbyweekfromMondaytoThursdayuntilJuly30th,11:30a.m.to12:45p.m.Formoreinformationortoregisterto

ThePreventionCommitteeisacooperativeinteragencygroupthatcoordinatesandfacilitatesavarietyofpreventionactivitiesforthecitizensandguestsof
EagleCounty.Thecommitteecollaboratesonvariouspreventionactivitiesincludingcarseatsafety,seatbeltsafety,drugandalcoholpreventionforkids,
distracteddrivingprevention,suicideprevention,andseniorsafety.Bycollaboratingourresourcesandmanpowerwehavebeenextremelysuccessfulmaking
