Why
did
the
PM
believe
he
has
the
right
to
say
that
I
want
to
look
carefully
at
it
to
see
if
any
of
them
might
not
perhaps
be
criminally
liable
from
what
they
did
to
that
gentleman."
With
all
due
respect
to
the
Prime
Minister
who
is
a
self-proclaimed
Constitutional
Lawyer,
that
is
NOT
his
role
as
head
of
the
Executive.
The
Prime
Ministers
role
is
to
SERVE
all
Belizeans.
His
role
is
to
protect
and
defend
the
rights
of
all
without
fear
OR
favor,
malice
or
ill
will.
Let
the
DPP
and
the
Police
do
their
job.
His
role
is
to
find
the
best
possible
way
to
deal
with
the
issue
of
communal
land
in
Toledo
in
the
most
fair
manner
possible,
and
in
such
a
way
that
uphold
the
spirit
as
well
as
the
letter
of
the
law
and
the
Consent
Order
that
his
Government
agreed
to
before
the
CCJ.
Anything
less
is
indefensible.
In
a
time
of
deep
crisis
in
our
nation,
no
responsible
leader
can
act
with
malice,
or
out
of
spite.
The
last
thing
that
our
nation
needs
when
the
flames
of
racial
tension
are
being
lit,
is
fuel
that
permits
a
conflagration
of
ethnic
division.
We
are
one
nation.
We
are
one
people
and
we
ALL
matter.
Our
lives
ALL
matter.
We
can
no
longer
tolerate
the
tyranny
of
aggressive
and/or
unwarranted
state
action
when
Belizeans
of
a
different
political
party
or
belief,
creed,
or
ethic
group
dissent,
or
disagree
with
the
Government.
Oppression
MUST
cease.
We
are
all
Belizeans,
equal
in
dignity
and
rights.
We
are
not
ruled
by
a
pharaoh,
but
served
by
a
duly
elected
government
who
must
behave
and
act
in
a
democratic
manner
to
ALL.
What
Belize
needs
is
for
our
Chief
Minister
to
provide
leadership
that
unifies,
instead
of
divides,
that
is
deliberate,
clear,
fair
and
attends
to
the
rights
of
ALL
citizens,
not
one,
not
a
few,
but
all.
The
pressing
problems
that
face
us
stagnant
economy,
inflation,
dire
poverty
affecting
Belizean

And,
If
you
really
want
to
express
outrage
over
what
is
happening
to
our
Afro-Belizean
brothers,
then
express
your
outrage
over
the
deaths
of
teenage
Belizeans
schoolboys
murdered
in
the
past
years,

,

We
ALL
MATTER.
