OPENING SEQUENCE: THE LOST CHILDREN (Curtain opens)

The lost children enter the stage holding hands. They are in a different
place, and they do
not recognize anything around them. The cross twice and then some of
them start to cry.

Lost Child #1: Here, have a seat. (All are seated stage left) Maybe a story will
make you feel better.I
know its not easy being a lost child.
Lost Child #2Will we ever find a home?
Lost Child #1: Well, maybe we can find a new home in this story! Once upon a
time.
Lost child # 3there were three brothers named Wendy, Michael/Michaela
andJohnl/Jenny/Jenny. They lived in London in a very big house. Every night Wendy,
the oldest sister, told her brothers stories about the adventures of Peter Pan.
Wendy:Johnl/Jenny/Jenny (Jenny), Michael/Michaelaa, its bedtime! Time for a
story. (they run outcurtain closes)
Johnl/Jenny: Tell my favorite one.
Michael/Michaela: The one about Peter Pan - its my favorite too!
Wendy: Peter Pan lives in a magic place called Neverland.

Children stay children there forever.

They never have to grow up. Peter is the leader of The Lost Children. They fight
Pirates.
Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: Hey, you forgot about Tinkerbell!
Wendy:Tinkerbell is a little fairy! Shes Peters best friend.
The best part is that Peter Pan and Tinkerbell can fly!
But lets go to sleep now. Its late and tomorrow we have school.

Michael/Michaela: Oh.
Wendy: Now, close your eyes and go to sleep. Good-night and sweet dreams.
Michael/Michaela and Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: Good night, Wendy.

Narrator: A few hours later they woke up frightened because they heard strange
noises in the room.

MUSICAL CUE TRIANGLE, SOUND EFFECT-WHOOSH (all stand/jump )

Johnl/Jenny: Did you hear that?

Michael/Michaela: Yes, did you, Wendy?
Wendy: Yes.. but whats that light over there?
Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: Where?
Michael/Michaela: What is it?
Wendy: Its
Tinker Bell: Yes! Its me Tinker Bell!
Wendy, Michael/Michaela, Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: Tinker Bell!

Narrator: Then something extraordinary happened. Peter Pan appeared

right there in the middle of the room.

Peter Pan:
Cock a doodle - doo!
ALL:
WOW!
Wendy, Michael/Michaela,Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: Peter Pan!
Peter Pan: Do you want to come with us?
Wendy: Where?
Peter Pan: Tinker Bell and I can take you to Neverland, where the lost boys live.
Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: To Neverland?
Michael/Michaela: Where the lost boys live?

Peter Pan: We need your help in Neverland. Come away and we'll never have to worry about grownup
things again"

Wendy: "Never is an awfully long time"

Michael/Michaela: But how do we get to Neverland?

Peter Pan: Well fly, of course.
Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: But we dont know how to fly!
Peter Pan : Tinkerbell will help you!
Tinkerbell: Dont worry! We will teach you. Just think of a wonderful thought.

ALL:
Think of a wonderful thought.

Narrator : Then Tinkerbell blew some fairy dust over the kids and they
started to fly!

Michael/Michaela: Look at me!

Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: Look at me! I am flying!

Narrator: And up and down they went, and round and round, until finally
the five of them were out of the room and up in the sky. They flew days
and nights. Sometimes they were cold, and sometimes they felt warm.
Sometimes they were hungry, and sometimes they were sleepy. When
they were flying over Neverland, Peter Pan pointed to a ship in the middle
of the ocean, and said.
Peter Pan: Look! Thats Captain Hooks ship. We have to be very careful with
him. He wants to have me prisoner.
Wendy: Who is Captain Hook?

SCENE 4: MEETING CAPTAIN HOOK

Peter Pan: Ahoy, Captain Hook.

Captain Hook: Ahoy, Peter Pan. I see you have some new friends.
Peter Pan: Yes, Wendy,Johnl/Jenny/Jenny/Jenny, Michael/Michaelaa and the Lost
Children.
Captain Hook: I bet they would make grrrrreat pirates!
Pirate 1 : We could use a new crew! You should try the life of a thief
P{irate 2:: Sample the life of a crook! We get to wear lots of sparkly treasures

SCENE 5: THE ELEGANT CAPTAIN HOOK

Yo ho, yo ho, yo ho, yo ho, yo ho
So, Try the life of a thief

A-workin for Captain Hook

Captain Hook: You are my prisoners!

Narrator: Suddenly the clock struck, tick tock, tick,tock, and he was
furious.
SOUND EFFECT CLOCK

Captain Hook:
Oh nooo.
Lost Child #2:
Whats that?
Pirate 1: Its the crocodile.
Lost Child #1:
Sounds more like a clock.
Pirate 1: Thats because he swallowed a clock.
He wishes he had swallowed Captain Hook!

ALL:
Ooooooohhhhhh
Captain Hook:OK, Pirates! We be outta here! Says I!
Narrator: Captain hook

grabbed Wendy and said. :

Captain Hook: If you want to see her again, tell Peter Pan to come and get me.

SCENE 6: WHAT WAS THAT?
Wendy: What was that about?
Tinkerbell:
Peter Pan and Captain Hook are not good friends.
Captain Hook and The Crocodile are not good friends either.

Johnl/Jenny: Why not?

Tinkerbell: Captain Hook smiled at the crocodile once
ALL: GASP!
Tinkerbell :Never smile at a crocodile.

No, you cant get friendly with a crocodile
Dont be taken in by his welcome grin
Hes imagining how well youd fit within his skin

Scene 7 : CAPTAIN HOOK

Narrator: They left quickly to their ship. The lost boys told Peter Pan
about what had happened. Peter Pan left Michael/Michaela
andJohnl/Jenny/Jenny with his friends, and headed to the pirates ship.

Peter Pan: Captain Hook! Here I am! Let Wendy go!

Captain Hook: Ha,ha,ha! Welcome aboard, Peter Pan! . My loyal men, take her
to land!

Narrator: When she arrived to land she went straight to the square of the Lost
Boys, and said.

Wendy: Peter Pan is Hooks prisoner! What can we do?

Narrator: At that moment they saw a light coming down from the sky, it
was Tinker Bell.

Tinker Bell:, Wendy, you must help me! We have to save Peter Pan.

Narrator: Wendy smiled and said.

Wendy: Yes, we have to save Peter Pan.

Tinker Bell: I have a plan follow me!

Narrator: Tinker Bell, Wendy, Michael/Michaela,Johnl/Jenny/Jenny, and the

Lost Boys headed to sea in a boat. When they were near Captains Hook
ship, Tinker Bell started to dance over the water. Soon, the sea waves
started to sound, tick, tock, tick, tock.

SCENE 8
Captain Hook: Stop it, please! I cant stand that noise!
Tinker Bell: Let Peter Pan go, or the ocean will turned into a tick tock in your ears!

Narrator: Hook set Peter Pan free, and while Captain Hook and his pirates
escaped, he and his friends went back to the square of the lost boys. That
night everybody was celebrating.

SCENE 9: (TRACK 15) GOING HOME

Johnl/Jenny: (YAWN) Gee, Peter, this is a great adventure!But Im getting sleepy.

Michael/Michaela: (YAWN) Im sleepy too. Where are we going to sleep tonight?
Tinkerbell: You can stay with The Lost Children.
Peter Pan:
Wendy, please tell everyone a bedtime story!
Wendy: Id love to!
Lost Children:YAY!!!
Wendy: Once upon a time there was a mother.
Lost Child #1: Whats a mother?
Lost Child #2: Is it a bird?
Lost Child #3: Is it a fairy?
Johnl/Jenny :You dont have a mother?
Lost Child #1: No

Wendy: Maybe when this adventure is over, you could meet mine
Lost Child #1: Do you think shed like to be our mother?
Lost Child #3: I still dont know what a mother is!
Wendy: Well, a real motherIs the most wonderful person in the world

Michael/Michaelaa: When can we go back to our Mother?
Wendy: Peter, we want to go home now.
Peter Pan: Sure Wendy, Ill take you home.
Johnl/Jenny: Oh good.
Peter Pan: But youll have to grow up.

Wendy: Can we come back and visit?

Peter Pan:

Any time you want.

Tinkerbell: Just look for the second star to the right.

SCENE 11: (TRACK 18) SECOND STAR TO THE RIGHT
The second star to the right

Peter Pan: Thank you my friends. You saved my life! We have experienced one of
the most exciting adventures!
Narrator: ThenJohnl/Jenny/Jenny woke up. They were in his bedroom.
Johnl/Jenny/Jenny: Was it a dream?
Michael/Michaela: Yes, maybe it was all a dream.
Narrator: Then Wendy saw Tinker Bell and Peter Pan up in the sky. They
were waving good-bye.
