Specify drop
height or velocity
at impact.

Vimpact = (2gh)1/2

Sets the height from which

the body is dropped from rest

Sets the direction and value of

the acceleration of gravity
Target: sets the orientation of
the impact plane
Normal to gravity. The impact plane is normal to gravity.
Parallel to Ref. plane. The impact plane is parallel to the
selected reference plane.
Target orientation reference. Select a reference plane

Drop Test Result Options Folder

Right click the
Result Options
folder and select
Define/Edit

Sets the time to monitor what happens

to the object during the first 106
microseconds after the first impact.
Sets the time to start saving results.
The default value of 0 instructs the
program to start saving data from
the moment of first impact
Number of Plots, accept the default
25, this means that the solution is
divided into 25 intervals and the
results (plots) are saved for these
intervals only.
Select points (vertices), results
for these points will be available
in the time history plots

No. of graph steps per plot, Sets the number of graph intervals for result plots.
The total number of data points for each graph is equal to No. of plots times No.
