We are delighted to welcome you to the 60th Session of the General Conference of Seventh-day
Adventists, held from July 2 to July 11, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas.

The theme for this session, Arise! Shine! Jesus is coming! points us to our hope and our
calling as Seventh-day Adventists. What a wonderful message we have to share with a world desperately
in need of a Savior and the knowledge of His soon return.

During our time together here in San Antonio, we look forward to highly spiritual meetings as we
listen to reports of how God is working through His people in amazing ways, carrying the important Three
Angels Messages found in Revelation 14 to every corner of the globe, and reaching into every region, every
town, and every home with this lifesaving message.

Yet, there is still more to do. Certainly, the only hope for this world is Christs soon comingand what a
privilege we share in spreading this message of hope. This special work must involve everyonewomen, men,
children, youth. All are needed to influence individuals for Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

During a General Conference Session, we have not only the joy of worshipping together as a
worldwide family, but also the opportunity to focus clearly on the mission of the church and how best to
accomplish that heaven-born task. The objectives of our overall mission theme, Reach the World, will
continue until the Lord comes as we reach up to God, reach in with God to nurture and train others, and
reach out with God to others through evangelistic and witnessing activities.

Let us continue moving forward together as we allow Gods Holy Word to guide us, and His Holy
Spirit to work among us. Let us remember the Holy Spirits wonderful direction in personal and corporate
revival and reformation; in health and community outreach through Comprehensive Health Ministry,
integrated evangelism, and media approaches; in public evangelism and Mission to the Cities. Millions
are longing for the hope that we have to share. Moving forward, let us reaffirm the foundational truths of
the Bible that make us who we are as Seventh-day Adventists, never fearful of sharing our distinctive
biblical beliefs that point to Christ; His life, death, and resurrection; His work in the heavenly sanctuary;
and His soon second coming.

As we meet together, let us lift up Gods work as central to all that we do. Let Christs righteousness be
the theme of our personal and public expression of who we are as Seventh-day Adventist Christians. Let us
pray together for Gods marvelous leading during our 60th General Conference Session as we plead with the
Lord for the outpouring of the latter rain of the Holy Spirit and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Let us invite the Holy Spirit to control our every word and action at this Session so that all we say
and do will be done in a Christlike manner and with great Christian respect for each other. Let us pray
that every decision we make will further Gods plans and strengthen His church for the mission that He
has entrusted to us. May we feel anew the joy of Gods grace, the urgency of our task, and the power of
His promises: Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of
endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: For yet a little
while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry. (Hebrews 10:35-37, NKJV).*

throughout the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center

Guest Services is located on the second Level
of the HBGCC, Room 206. Committee room scheduling,
spot announcements, fax, and copy services are provided
for delegates, technical staff, and those involved in
official Session business. Hours are: 9:00 am7:00 pm.

Please be respectful of others by placing your cell phone
on vibrate. Kindly take your calls in hallways or other areas
where you will not disturb those around you, or the
meeting in progress.
DEAF/HARD OF HEARING
Signing interpretation in American Sign Language will be
provided for the deaf/hard of hearing in Section 134 of the
DELEGATE FLOOR ACCESS

Access to the delegate seating area is limited to
delegates, staff, and official guests with badges.
DEMONSTRATIONS
The General Conference does not permit any
demonstrations or unauthorized distribution of
literature in areas it controls during the Session.
DENOMINATIONAL RETIREE SEATING

Reserved seating for denominational retirees holding
passes is available behind delegate seating in the
Alamodome. Retiree passes are available at the
Information Desk located at the main entrance to the
Alamodome, Plaza Level.

INSTEP4LIFE 5K FUN RUN/WALK

GC SESSION, SAN ANTONIO, TX
All reports for consideration by the delegates, and any

other approved material, will be distributed during
business sessions under the supervision of G Thomas Evans.
Distribution approval for materials must be obtained
from Myron A Iseminger, Undersecretary of the General
Conference. Forms to facilitate such approval may be
obtained from the Business Center on the 2nd Level of
the HBGCC, Room 206.
Join thousands of Adventists and friends on July 5, 2015,

from 6:00 to 7:00 am for a 5K fun run/walk followed by
awards. People of any age are welcome to participate or to
cheer. The GC Instep4Life 5K fun run/walk is sponsored by
the General Conference Health Ministries and the North
American Division Health Ministries. The Adventists Instep
for Life initiative focuses on promoting healthy living while
raising awareness about childhood obesity. Preregistration
is required, with limited availability for 2,500 people only.

FOOD SERVICE
Prepurchased meal tickets will be available for pickup
with proof of purchase at the meal ticket kiosk located in
East Registration of the HBGCC. Hours: 7:00 am6:30 pm
(closed Sabbath). Lunch will be served in Exhibit Hall D in
the HBGCC. Lunch: 12:00 noon2:00 pm. Friday night and
Sabbath supper: 5:007:00 pm. Breakfast and snack
items are available in the Lobby Bridge Caf, HBGCC.
Hours: 7:30 am12:00 noon (closed Sabbath). The food
court located in Hall D in the HBGCC will offer evening
meals SundayThursday from 3:00 to 6:30 pm.

LOST CHILDREN
Lost children should be taken to a security officer, to the
nearest information desk, or to Room 206 in the HBGCC.
Be sure to make arrangements with your family to meet
in a designated place should you become separated.
LOST AND FOUND

Lost and found articles should be taken to the nearest
information desk or to Room 1066 of the HBGCC. Delegate
briefcases are frequently misplaced. Please complete the
identification tag for your briefcase so that it can be
returned to you.
MUSIC USE AND RECORDING

The General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists has
secured permission to use and record music at this
Session. That permission is not transferable to others. Use
or recording of any music for other than personal
enjoyment is a violation of applicable copyright laws.
PARKING
Parking is available in many lots adjacent to HBGCC and
the Alamodome in the downtown area of San Antonio.
Rates vary depending on the lot.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Keep your personal belongings with you at all times. Do
not leave briefcases or other packages in the delegate
area, meeting rooms, or halls. They will be removed by

security and may be destroyed.
PICTURES
Official photographers have been assigned to cover the
events of the Session. Reporters, editors, and
communication directors requiring pictures for press
purposes should contact the Press Room located in the
Press Box, Alamodome.
POST OFFICE
Incoming mail should be directed to your hotel. Outgoing
mail may be sent from your hotels concierge desk or from
the post office located at 615 E. Houston St., San Antonio,
TX 78205, which is about four blocks (.32 kilometers)
from the HBGCC. It is across from the Alamo and the Emily
Morgan Hotel.
PRAYER ROOM
Whenever the church has accomplished something great
for God, there has been a group of intercessors in a side
room, praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Because of the opportunities and challenges facing this
church in the quinquennium ahead, and because of the
significant decisions being made here concerning
leadership and priorities, you are invited to be part of such
a prayer group.
Prayer warriors will be meeting in the Prayer Room
from 8:00 am-8:00 pm in Room F of the Alamodome.
You are invited to come and join us and pray either in a
group, or with a prayer warrior for a personal need, or
by yourself if you just need a quiet place. We look
forward to seeing you.
PUBLIC RESPONSES
As we meet together for this General Conference
Session, we rejoice at evidences of the Lords goodness
and leading in our midst. To Him alone be the glory! In
our worship and business sessions let us respond
publicly in ways that exalt Him, which at appropriate
times may include applause. It is requested, however,
that there be no applause in response to speeches made
on the floor during business sessions.
REGISTRATION
Delegates, special guests, media representatives, and
technical staff must register and receive their official
badge. Registration is located in East Registration, HBGCC.
Exhibitor registration is in West Registration, HBGCC.
SALE OF LITERATURE
OR OTHER MATERIAL
The General Conference does not permit sales or
distribution of literature, music, souvenirs, or any other
material outside the exhibit halls. Please contact the
exhibit manager in Room H62 of the Henry B. Gonzalez
Convention Center (HBGCC) regarding available space.
SIGN LANGUAGE
Sign language is available in Section 134 of the Alamodome.
SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION
Session proceedings are being broadcast in various languages
by FM radio. You may provide your own FM receiver or
purchase one at the Adventist World Radio kiosk located at the
NE Plaza Level entrance, Alamodome.
TRAVEL AGENT
MTS Travel/Raptim Travel is available to assist you with
your travel needs. They are located in West Registration,
HBGCC.
WHEELCHAIR, STROLLER, AND/OR

HANDICAPPED ACCESS
Handicapped access for the Alamodome is available at
the street level of all available entrances.
RECORDING NOTICE
The General Conference makes recordings of this
Session. While recording is primarily used for archival
and record-keeping purposes, the General Conference
reserves the right to make copies and publish all or a
portion of the recordings. Those who speak during the
Session are deemed to have granted the General
Conference permission to record and publish, at its
sole discretion, their speeches or presentations.

Nous sommes heureux de vous accueillir la 60e session de la Confrence gnrale des adventistes
du septime jour, du 2 au 11 juillet 2015, San Antonio, au Texas.

Le thme de cette session, Levez-vous ! Resplendissez ! Jsus revient ! , nous fait rflchir
notre esprance et notre appel en tant quadventistes du septime jour. Quel merveilleux message que celui
de son retour imminent partager avec un monde qui a dsesprment besoin dun sauveur !

Au cours de cette semaine que nous passerons ensemble San Antonio, nous participerons des
runions hautement spirituelles. Nous entendrons galement des rapports sur les faons tonnantes dont
Dieu travaille par lintermdiaire de ses enfants, lesquels rpandent le message des trois anges dApocalypse
14 aux quatre coins de la terre, et transmettent ce message porteur de vie dans chaque rgion, chaque ville, et
chaque foyer.

Cependant, il reste encore beaucoup faire. Ce monde en perdition na, assurment, quun seul espoir :
le retour imminent de Jsus. Quel privilge avons-nous de propager ce message desprance ! Cette mission
spciale nous concerne tous : femmes, hommes, enfants, jeunes adultes chacun a son rle jouer pour
atteindre les gens pour Christ, par la puissance du Saint-Esprit.

Pendant cette session de la Confrence gnrale, la famille mondiale adventiste aura non
seulement la joie dadorer ensemble son Dieu, mais aussi loccasion de se focaliser sur la mission de
lglise et sur les meilleurs moyens de laccomplir. Les objectifs de notre thme missionnaire global
Atteindre le monde se poursuivront jusqu ce que le Seigneur revienne, tandis que nous entretenons
notre relation avec Dieu, que nous soutenons et formons nos frres et surs, et que nous nous efforons
datteindre nos semblables par des campagnes dvanglisation et diffrentes activits de tmoignage.

Poursuivons ensemble notre course en permettant la Parole de Dieu de nous guider et au Saint-Esprit
duvrer parmi nous. Souvenons-nous combien le Saint-Esprit nous dirige de faon extraordinaire dans nos
efforts individuels et collectifs que ce soit par le rveil et la rforme, les programmes communautaires du
Ministre global de la sant, lvanglisation intgre et les approches mdiatiques, ou lvanglisation publique

regards sur le Christ, sa vie, sa mort, sa rsurrection, son uvre dans le sanctuaire cleste, et son retour imminent.

Tout au long de cette 60e session de la Confrence gnrale, plaons luvre de Dieu au centre de
toutes nos actions. Faisons de la justice du Christ le thme de notre expression personnelle et publique de ce
que nous sommes en tant quadventistes du septime jour. Prions ensemble pour que Dieu nous guide de
faon merveilleuse, alors que nous supplions le Seigneur de dverser sur nous la pluie de larrire-saison le
Saint-Esprit et de revenir bientt.

Enfin, invitons le Saint-Esprit contrler chacune de nos paroles et de nos actions lors de cette session,
afin que tout ce que nous dirons et ferons soit empreint dune grande courtoisie chrtienne et reflte le Christ.
Prions pour que toutes les dcisions que nous y prendrons fassent progresser les plans de Dieu et
affermissent son glise dans laccomplissement de la mission quil lui a confie. Puissions-nous ressentir
nouveau la joie de la grce de Dieu, lurgence de notre tche et la puissance de ses promesses :
Nabandonnez donc pas votre assurance, laquelle est attache une grande rmunration. Car vous avez
besoin de persvrance, afin quaprs avoir accompli la volont de Dieu, vous obteniez ce qui vous est promis.

Linterprtation en langue des signes dans le American

Sign Language sera assure dans la section 134 de

sant de la Confrence gnrale et de la Division

des dcisions importantes qui vont tre prises lgard du
leadership et des priorits, vous tes cordialement invits
faire partie de ce groupe de prire.
Le groupe de prire se runira tous les jours dans la salle F
de lAlamodome, de 8h00 20h00. Nhsitez pas vous
joindre nous pour prier en groupe, ou avec un

Generalkonferenz
Voller Freude heien wir euch zur 60. Vollversammlung der Generalkonferenz der SiebentenTags-Adventisten vom 2. bis 11. Juli 2015 in San Antonio willkommen.

Das Motto dieser Vollversammlung: Mach dich auf! Werde Licht! Jesus kommt! bringt
unsere Hoffnung und unsere Berufung als Siebenten-Tags-Adventisten zum Ausdruck. Wir haben eine
wunderbare Botschaft fr eine Welt, die verzweifelt einen Retter braucht und von seiner baldigen
Wiederkunft erfahren muss.

Whrend unserer gemeinsamen Zeit hier in San Antonio drfen wir uns auf tiefe geistliche Stunden
freuen. Wir werden Berichte darber hren, wie Gott auf erstaunliche Art und Weise durch sein Volk
wirkt, um die dreifache Engelsbotschaft aus Offenbarung 14 auch in den letzten Winkel unserer Erde zu
bringen und wir werden hren, wie die Adventbewegung jede Region, jede Stadt und jede Familie mit
dieser lebensrettenden Botschaft erreichen wird.

Doch es gibt noch viel zu tun. Die einzige Hoffnung fr diese Welt ist die bevorstehende Wiederkunft
Christi, und es ist unser Vorrecht, diese Botschaft der Hoffnung zu verbreiten. In die Erfllung dieser besonderen
Aufgabe muss jeder einbezogen werden: Frauen und Mnner, Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene alle
werden gebraucht, um durch die Kraft des Heiligen Geistes Menschen fr Christus zu gewinnen.

Whrend der Vollversammlung der Generalkonferenz werden wir nicht nur die Freude haben, als
weltweite Glaubensfamilie Gottesdienste miteinander zu erleben, wir werden auch unser Augenmerk auf

vollenden knnen. Die Ziele unseres groen, bergreifenden Missionsthemas Die Welt erreichen
werden bestehen bleiben, bis Jesus wiederkommt. Bis dahin werden wir nicht aufhren, uns nach Gott
auszustrecken, mit Gott andere auszubilden und zu ihrem geistlichen Wachstum beizutragen und uns
ebenfalls mit Gott durch Evangelisationen und Glaubenszeugnis nach anderen auszustrecken, um sie mit
der guten Nachricht zu erreichen.

Lasst uns weiter vorangehen und uns vom heiligen Wort Gottes fhren lassen. Lasst den Heiligen Geist
weiter unter uns wirken. Lasst uns daran denken, wie wunderbar er uns gefhrt hat, in persnlicher und
gemeinschaftlicher Erweckung und Reformation, in Gesundheits- und sozialen Evangelisationsbemhungen
durch umfassende Gesundheitsdienste, in ganzheitlicher Evangelisation, im ganzheitlichen Einsatz der
Medien, in der ffentlichen Evangelisation und in der Mission in den Grostdten, in denen sich Millionen
nach der Hoffnung sehnen, die wir ihnen weitergeben knnen. Wir wollen vorangehen und die
grundlegenden Wahrheiten der Bibel, die uns zu dem machen, was wir als Siebenten-Tags-Adventisten sind,
erneut bekrftigen. Habt niemals Angst davor, unsere besonderen Glaubensberzeugungen weiterzusagen,
die auf Christus, sein Leben und Sterben, seine Auferstehung, seinen Dienst im himmlischen Heiligtum und
seine nah bevorstehende Wiederkunft hinweisen.

Lasst uns in unseren Zusammenknften Gottes Werk hervorheben, das im Mittelpunkt all dessen
steht, was wir tun. Die Gerechtigkeit Christi soll fr uns persnlich und als ganze Gemeinde Ausdruck dessen
sein, was wir als Christen und Siebenten-Tags-Adventisten sind. Lasst uns gemeinsam dafr beten, dass Gott
uns, die wir um die Ausgieung des Heiligen Geistes im Sptregen und um die Wiederkunft Christi flehen,
auf unserer 60. Generalkonferenz-Vollversammlung groartig und wunderbar fhren wird.

Im Abschnitt 134 des Alamodomes wird fr Gehrlose in
die amerikanische Gebrdensprache gedolmetscht. Fr alle,
die eine Tonverstrkung wnschen, ist eine FMRadiobertragung vorhanden. FM-Radios knnen am Stand
von Adventist World Radio (AWR) in der Ausstellungshalle
und am AWR-Stand neben dem Haupteingang zum
Alamodome auf dem Plaza-Level gekauft werden.

Am 5. Juli findet von 6:00 7:00 Uhr ein 5-Kilometer-FunRun mit anschlieender Siegerehrung statt. Initiator ist die
Gesundheitsinitiative Adventists InStep for Life der
Gesundheitsabteilung der Generalkonferenz und der
Nordamerikanischen Division. Ihr Anliegen ist es, einen
gesunden Lebensstil zu propagieren und die Bevlkerung
fr bergewicht bei Kindern zu sensibilisieren. Alle sind
eingeladen, teilzunehmen oder anzufeuern. Es gibt keine
Altersbeschrnkung, die Distanz kann auch gegangen
werden. Eine Anmeldung ist erforderlich, die
Teilnehmerzahl ist auf 2500 begrenzt. Unter www.

whrend der Konferenz erworben. Diese Rechte sind nicht

Musik ausser zur persnlichen Verwendung,
verstt gegen das Urheberrechtsgesetz.
PARKEN
Parkpltze befinden sich in der Nhe des Henry-B.Gonzalez-Kongresszentrums und des Alamodomes sowie
im Stadtzentrum von San Antonio. Die Parkgebhren
variieren je nach Lage.
PRIVATGEGENSTNDE
Privatgegenstnde sind immer bei sich zu tragen.
Taschen oder andere Gegenstnde drfen nicht im
Delegiertenbereich, in Sitzungsrumen oder Hallen

Die Veranstaltungen der Konferenz werden von offiziellen
Fotografen festgehalten. Berichterstatter, Redakteure und
Kommunikationsabteilungsleiter, die Fotos fr
Pressezwecke brauchen, wenden sich bitte an die
Pressekabine im Alamodome.
POSTAMT
Eingehende Post sollte direkt an dein Hotel geschickt
werden. Briefe knnen an der Hotelrezeption deines Hotels
oder beim Postamt aufgegeben werden, das einige Straen
vom Henry-B.-Gonzalez-Kongresszentrum entfernt,

GEBETSRAUM
Immer wenn die Gemeinde etwas Groes fr Gott getan
hat, hat es in einem Nebenraum eine Gruppe von
Menschen gegeben, die um die Ausgieung des
Heiligen Geistes gebetet haben. Da wir vor wichtigen
Entscheidungen im Bezug auf die Fhrung und die
Prioritten unserer Kirche stehen und in den nchsten
fnf Jahren Gelegenheiten und Herausforderungen vor
uns liegen, laden wir dich ein, dich solch einer

Gebetsgruppe anzuschlieen.
Von 8:00 20:00 Uhr werden sich die Beter in Raum F im
Alamodome zum gemeinsamen Gebet treffen. Du bist
eingeladen, dich entweder der Gruppe anzuschlieen, mit
jemandem aus der Gruppe zu zweit ein persnliches
Anliegen vor Gott zu bringen oder einfach fr dich allein
zu beten, wenn du einen ruhigen Ort dazu suchst. Wir
freuen uns auf dich.
ANGEMESSENE BEIFALLSBEKUNDUNGEN
In unseren Zusammenknften bei dieser Generalkonferenz
freuen wir uns darber, wie sich Gottes Gte und Fhrung
in unserer Mitte erweist. Ihm allein gebhrt dafr die
Ehre! In unseren Andachten und Geschftssitzungen
wollen wir unsere Zustimmung so ausdrcken, dass Gott
erhoben wird; wo es angemessen ist, kann dies auch
durch Applaus geschehen. Es wird jedoch ersucht, nach der
Rede eines Delegierten im Plenum whrend einer
Geschftssitzung nicht zu applaudieren.

Der Reiseveranstalter MTS-Travel hat seinen Standort
auf dem Kongress im westlichen Anmeldungsbereich
(West Registration) im Henry-B.-GonzalezKongresszentrum und steht fr Fragen rund ums Reisen
und Buchungen zur Verfgung.

Die Generalkonferenz fertigt Aufnahmen von den
Veranstaltungen der Vollversammlung an, die vor
allem zur Archivierung und Berichtfhrung dienen.
Dennoch behlt sich die Generalkonferenz das
Recht vor, diese Aufnahmen zu vervielfltigen
und ganz oder teilweise zu verffentlichen.

Associao Geral
Com alegria, damos-lhe as boas-vindas 60 Assembleia da Associao Geral dos Adventistas
do Stimo Dia, realizada de 2 a 11 de julho de 2015, em San Antonio, Texas.

O tema desta Assembleia, Levante-se! Resplandea! Jesus est voltando!, destaca nossa
esperana e nosso chamado como adventistas do stimo dia. Que mensagem maravilhosa nos foi
confiada para compartilhar com o mundo que necessita desesperadamente de um Salvador e do
conhecimento de Sua breve volta.

Durante o tempo que passarmos aqui em San Antonio, anelamos ter uma reunio altamente
espiritual ao ouvirmos relatrios de como Deus est operando de forma maravilhosa por meio de Seu
povo que leva o importante contedo das Trs Mensagens Anglicas de Apocalipse 14 a cada canto do
mundo, e de como a misso do movimento adventista penetrar cada regio, cidade e lar com essa
mensagem de salvao.

No entanto, ainda h muito a ser feito. Certamente, a nica esperana para este mundo a breve volta
de Cristo e quo privilegiados somos de participar na propagao dessa mensagem de esperana. Esta
obra especial deve envolver a todos: mulheres, homens, crianas, jovens, adultos; todos so necessrios para
alcanar indivduos para Cristo mediante o poder do Esprito Santo.

Durante as reunies da Assembleia da Associao Geral, no apenas temos a alegria de adorar juntos
como uma famlia mundial, mas temos a oportunidade de claramente nos concentrar na misso da igreja e
na melhor forma de realizar essa misso originada no Cu. Os objetivos do nosso tema da misso geral de
Reach the World (Alcanar o Mundo) continuaro at que o Senhor venha medida que nos achegamos a
Deus, nos aprofundamos com Deus para ensinar e treinar outros, e alcanamos outros com Deus atravs de
atividades evangelsticas e de testemunho.

Continuemos a avanar juntos, permitindo que a Santa Palavra de Deus nos guie e que Seu Esprito Santo
opere entre ns. Recordemos a maravilhosa direo do Esprito Santo no reavivamento e reforma de cada pessoa
e da igreja como um todo, no evangelismo na rea de sade e na comunidade por meio de um Abrangente
Ministrio da Sade, de evangelismo integrado, de abordagens integradas de mdia e de evangelismo pblico, e
de Misso para as Grandes Cidades, onde milhes de pessoas anseiam pela esperana que temos para
compartilhar. Ao avanarmos, reafirmemos as verdades fundamentais da Bblia que fazem de ns o que somos
como adventistas do stimo dia. Nunca tenha medo de compartilhar nossas crenas bblicas distintivas que
apontam para Cristo, Sua vida, morte e ressurreio, Sua obra no santurio celestial e Sua segunda vinda.

Ao nos reunirmos, enalteamos a obra de Deus como o mago de tudo o que fazemos. Que a
justia de Cristo seja o tema de nossa expresso pessoal e pblica do que somos como cristos
adventistas do stimo dia. Oremos juntos para que Deus nos conduza de maneira maravilhosa durante a
60 Assembleia da Associao Geral ao rogarmos ao Senhor pelo derramamento da chuva serdia do
Esprito Santo e pela segunda vinda de Jesus Cristo.

Convidemos o Esprito Santo para controlar cada uma de nossas palavras e aes nessa Assembleia
a fim de que tudo o que dissermos e fizermos seja feito de maneira semelhante de Cristo e com grande
respeito cristo de uns para com os outros. Oremos para que cada deciso que tomarmos faa avanar os
planos de Deus e fortalea Sua Igreja para a misso que Ele nos confiou. Que possamos sentir mais uma
vez a alegria da graa de Deus, a urgncia de nossa tarefa e o poder de Suas promessas. No abandoneis,
portanto, a vossa confiana; ela tem grande galardo. Com efeito, tendes necessidade de perseverana,
Levante-se! Resplandea! Jesus est voltando!

quinqunio e devido ao fato de que decises importantes
sero tomadas sobre a liderana e as prioridades, voc
convidado a fazer parte desse grupo de orao.
Os Guerreiros de Orao se reuniro na Sala de Orao das
8h s 20h, na Sala F do Alamodome. Voc convidado a vir,
se unir a ns e orar em grupo, ou com um Guerreiro de
Orao por uma necessidade pessoal, ou sozinho se voc s
precisar de um lugar tranquilo. Esperamos v-lo.

Os procedimentos da Assembleia estaro sendo

Mensaje de los Directivos de la

Asociacin General
Nos complace darles la bienvenida al 60 Congreso de la Asociacin General de los Adventistas
del Sptimo Da, que se lleva a cabo entre los das 2 al 11 de julio de 2015, en San Antonio, Texas.

El tema de este Congreso, Levntate! Resplandece! Jess Viene!, seala nuestra
esperanza y nuestro llamado como adventistas del sptimo da. Qu maravilloso es el mensaje que
tenemos para compartir con un mundo que necesita desesperadamente un Salvador y el conocimiento
de su pronto regreso!

Durante el tiempo que estemos aqu en San Antonio, anhelamos un encuentro sumamente
espiritual al escuchar los informes de cmo Dios est obrando a travs de su pueblo de maneras
increbles llevando el importante mensaje de los tres ngeles, de Apocalipsis 14, a todos los rincones de la
Tierra y alcanzando a toda regin, todo pueblo y todo hogar con este mensaje de salvacin.

Todava queda mucho por hacer. Ciertamente, la nica esperanza para este mundo es el pronto regreso de
Cristo; y qu gran privilegio es el de esparcir el mensaje de esperanza. Esta obra especial tiene que involucrar a
todos: mujeres, hombres, nios y jvenes, todos son necesarios para llevar personas a Cristo, por medio del poder
del Espritu Santo.

Durante el Congreso de la Asociacin General, no solamente tenemos el gozo de adorar juntos
como familia mundial; tambin tenemos la oportunidad de enfocar claramente la atencin en la misin
de la Iglesia y en cmo cumplir mejor esa misin de origen celestial. Los objetivos del tema de nuestra
amplia misin: Alcanzar el mundo continuarn hasta la venida de nuestro Seor a medida que nos
conectamos con Dios; miramos a nuestro lado para fortalecer, apoyar y capacitar a nuestros semejantes; y
con la ayuda de Dios alcanzamos a otros a travs de actividades de evangelizacin y testificacin.

Continuemos avanzando juntos, permitiendo que la Palabra de Dios nos gue y que el Espritu
Santo obre entre nosotros. Recordemos la maravillosa direccin del Espritu Santo en el reavivamiento y
reforma personal y corporativos, en los esfuerzos de alcance comunitario y de salud por medio del
Ministerio Integral de Salud, en la evangelizacin integrada, en los enfoques integrados de los medios de
comunicacin, en la evangelizacin pblica y en Misin en las Ciudades, donde millones ansan recibir la
esperanza que tenemos para compartir. Al continuar hacia adelante, reafirmemos las verdades
fundamentales de la Biblia que nos hacen lo que somos como adventistas del sptimo da. No tengamos
nunca temor de compartir nuestras creencias bblicas distintivas que sealan hacia Cristo, hacia su vida,
muerte y resurreccin, su ministerio en el santuario celestial y hacia su pronta venida.

Al reunirnos, pongamos la obra de Dios como centro de todo lo que hacemos. Permitamos que la
justicia de Cristo sea el tema de nuestra expresin personal y pblica de quines somos, como cristianos
adventistas. Oremos juntos para que la direccin de Dios se manifieste de manera extraordinaria durante
el 60 Congreso de la Asociacin General supliqumosle al Seor por el derramamiento de la lluvia tarda
del Espritu Santo y por la segunda venida de Jesucristo.

Invitemos al Espritu Santo a controlar cada palabra y accin durante este Congreso, de manera que
todo lo que digamos y hagamos sea de la manera en que Cristo lo hara y con gran respeto cristiano entre
nosotros. Oremos para que cada decisin que se tome haga avanzar los planes de Dios y fortalezca su Iglesia
para la misin que nos ha encomendado. Que podamos experimentar el gozo renovado de la gracia de Dios,
la urgencia de nuestra tarea y el poder de sus promesas: As que no pierdan la confianza, porque sta ser
grandemente recompensada. Ustedes necesitan perseverar para que, despus de haber cumplido la voluntad

El Centro de Servicio a los Huspedes se encuentra en el
2do nivel del HBGCC, Sala 206. Provee a los delegados, el
personal tcnico y las personas involucradas en las
reuniones oficiales del Congreso, la programacin del uso
de salas de junta, anuncios en las pantallas, servicios de
duplicacin de materiales y envo de mensajes va fax
(facsmil). HORARIO DE ATENCIN: 9:00 19:00
TELFONOS CELULARES
Por favor sea respetuoso con los dems y coloque su
telfono celular en modo vibracin. Por favor,
atienda sus llamadas en los pasillos u otras reas
donde no cause molestias a otras personas o
interrumpa las reuniones.
Habr interpretacin en lenguaje de seas para personas

con discapacidad auditiva en la Seccin 134 del
Alamodome. Para aquellos que deseen la seal

El acceso a la zona de delegados se limita a los
delegados, al personal y a los invitados especiales con el
correspondiente distintivo.

La Asociacin General no permite durante el Congreso
ninguna manifestacin ni distribucin no autorizada de
literatura en las zonas bajo su control.

Todos los informes a considerar por parte de los delegados

durante la sesin de negocios, bajo la supervisin de
G Thomas Evans. Debe obtenerse la aprobacin de
Myron A Iseminger, subsecretario de la AG, para la
distribucin de materiales que no son parte directa de la
agenda del Congreso. Los formularios de aprobacin
pueden obtenerse en el Centro de Negocios (Business

Los boletos para las comidas se pueden recoger
presentando el recibo de pago en el kiosco de Meal
Tickets en la zona de East Registration (Recepcin Este)

D) del HBGCC diariamente entre las 12:00 y las 14:00. La
cena del viernes y del sbado se servir de 17:00 a 19:00.
En el Lobby Bridge Caf HBGCC hay refrigerios y
comestibles disponibles para el desayuno, de 7:30 a 12:00.

Instep4Life 5K AG es patrocinada por el Ministerio de la
Salud de la Asociacin General y por la iniciativa Adventists
Instep for Life del Ministerio de la Salud de la Divisin
Norteamericana, que enfoca su atencin en la promocin de la
vida saludable y en crear conciencia con respecto a la obesidad
infantil. Se requiere inscripcin previa, ya que tienen vacantes
disponibles solamente para 2.500 personas.

Los objetos perdidos y encontrados deben llevarse al

del HBGCC. Considerando que los portafolios o maletines
de los delegados se pierden frecuentemente, asegrese
de completar con sus datos la etiqueta de identificacin
para que pueda recuperar el suyo.
USO Y GRABACIN DE LA MSICA
Siempre que la Iglesia ha logrado algo grande para Dios,

ha habido un grupo de intercesores en una habitacin
contigua, orando por el derramamiento del Espritu Santo.
Debido a las oportunidades y los desafos que enfrenta
la Iglesia en el quinquenio, y debido a las decisiones
significativas que se tomarn aqu con respecto a los
lderes y las prioridades, lo invitamos a formar parte de
este grupo de oracin.
La Asociacin General de los Adventistas del Sptimo Da

se ha asegurado los derechos para el uso y la grabacin de
la msica en este congreso. Este permiso no es
transferible a ninguna persona. El uso o la grabacin de
cualquier msica para otros usos, excepto el personal, es
una violacin a las leyes de derechos reservados.
Los Guerreros de Oracin se reunirn en la Sala de Oracin

[Sala F del Alamodome] de 8:00 a 20:00. Le invitamos a
unirse a nosotros para orar, ya sea en un grupo o con un
Guerrero de Oracin para presentar algn pedido personal; o
bien, solo, si sencillamente necesita un lugar tranquilo para
orar. Le estaremos esperando.
ESTACIONAMIENTO
Hay lugar disponible en muchas playas de
estacionamiento adyacentes al HBGCC y al Alamodome en
el centro de la ciudad de San Antonio. Los precios varan
de acuerdo al lugar elegido.
OBJETOS PERSONALES
Mantenga consigo en todo tiempo sus pertenencias. No
deje portafolios u otros artculos en el rea de delegados,
salones de reuniones, salas o pasillos. El equipo de
Seguridad los recoger y tal vez los destruir.
FOTOGRAFAS
Se han designado asignados fotgrafos oficiales para
cubrir los programas del Congreso. Los reporteros,
editores y directores de comunicaciones que necesiten
fotografas para la prensa, deben acudir a la Sala de
Prensa situada en el Press Box Alamodome.
SERVICIO POSTAL O DE CORREOS

Debe recibir su correspondencia en la direccin de su
propio hotel. Puede enviar su correspondencia a travs de
la oficina de recepcin de su hotel o desde la oficina postal
localizada en el 615 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78205
que queda a unas cuatro cuadras, o a 0.32 km del HBGCC;
frente al lamo y el Emily Morgan Hotel.
RESPUESTAS PBLICAS
Al reunirnos todos juntos para este Congreso de la
Asociacin General, nos regocijamos ante las evidencias de
la bondad y direccin de Dios entre nosotros. A Dios sea la
gloria! Tanto en nuestras reuniones de adoracin como en
las de negocios, respondamos pblicamente en formas que
lo exalten, lo que, en el momento apropiado, podra incluir
aplausos. Sin embargo, se pide que no haya aplausos en la
sala como respuesta a discursos durante las sesiones del
Congreso.
INSCRIPCIN
Tanto los delegados, como las visitas, los representantes
de medios de comunicacin y el personal tcnico, deben
inscribirse y recibir su distintivo oficial. La inscripcin se
lleva a cabo en East Registration - HBGCC. La inscripcin
de los que tienen exhibiciones es en West Registration HBGCC.
VENTA DE LITERATURA O DE OTROS

MATERIALES
La Asociacin General no permite la venta o distribucin
de literatura, msica, recuerdos o cualquier otro material,
fuera de las salas de exhibicin. Pngase en contacto con
el Gerente de Exhibiciones en la Oficina del Centro de
Convenciones Henry B Gonzlez (HBGCC) con respecto a
la disponibilidad de espacios.
NOTA SOBRE LAS GRABACIONES
TRADUCCIN SIMULTNEA
Los programas del Congreso se transmiten en varios
idiomas a travs de banda radial FM. Usted puede usar su
propio receptor o adquirir uno en la entrada noreste (NE)
del nivel Plaza Alamodome.
AGENCIA DE VIAJES.
La agencia MTS Travel est a su disposicin para asistirle
con sus necesidades de viaje, en West Registration - HBGCC.
La Asociacin General hace una grabacin del

Congreso. Aunque esta grabacin se usa
primordialmente para propsitos de archivo y
registros, la Asociacin General se reserva el
derecho del duplicado o publicacin de toda o
parte de la grabacin. Quienes dirijan la palabra
durante el Congreso estn otorgando a la
Asociacin General el permiso para publicar, a su
criterio, los discursos o presentaciones.

Planning and preparation for a General Conference Session requires the time and effort of many individuals. The Session Planning Committee
includes the chairpersons of each of the various Session Planning subcommittees. We want to thank the members of the Session Planning
Committee and all of the subcommittees for their contributions to the General Conference Session.

When the trumpet of the Lord shall
sound, and time shall be no more,

13 | When He Cometh
Soon our eyes were drawn to the east, for a small black cloud had
appeared, about half as large as a mans hand, which we all knew
was the sign of the Son of man. We all in solemn silence gazed on
the cloud as it drew nearer, and became lighter, glorious, and still
more glorious, till it was a great white cloud. The bottom appeared
like fire; a rainbow was over the cloud, while around it were ten
thousand angels, singing a most lovely song; and upon it sat the
Son of man. His hair was white and curly, and lay on His shoulders;
and upon His head were many crowns. His feet had the appearance
of fire; in His right hand was a sharp sickle; in His left, a silver
trumpet. His eyes were a flame of fire, which searched His children
through and through. Then all faces gathered paleness, and those
that God had rejected gathered blackness. Then we all cried out:
Who shall be able to stand? Is my robe spotless? Then the angels
ceased to sing, and there was some time of awful silence, when
Jesus spoke: Those who have clean hands and pure hearts shall be
able to stand; My grace is sufficient for you. At this our faces
lighted up, and joy filled every heart. And the angels struck a note
higher and sung again, while the cloud drew still nearer the earth.
Then Jesus silver trumpet sounded, as He descended on the cloud,
wrapped in flames of fire. He gazed on the graves of the sleeping
saints, then raised His eyes and hands to heaven, and cried, Awake!
awake! awake! ye that sleep in the dust, and arise. Then there was
a mighty earthquake. The graves opened, and the dead came up
clothed with immortality. The 144,000 shouted Alleluia! as they
recognized their friends who had been torn from them by death,
and in the same moment we were changed and caught up
together with them to meet the Lord in the air.
