Empowerments help us establish a stronger connection as well as enable us with the

qualities of that which we are being empowered to. Wanda Ruffner has stated in her
animal empowerment instruction manual that empowerments are activations. This

HPSRZHUPHQWLVWRDFWLYDWHWKDWZKLFKDOUHDG\OD\VZLWKLQ\RXWKHSRZHUDQGPHGLFLQH
of the wolf.

Wolves are related to knowledge, guardianship, loyalty and Spirit. They have a

strong sense of family and loyalty, often mating for life. If you spend time with a wolf,
you soon learn they bond to one or two humans. They may accept others but often

grieve to the point of illness if they lose contact with the human they first bonded with.
They are highly intelligent and maintain rules and ritual within their own families or
packs.

They are often pictured in art with a full moon in the background or framing them.

This is because their cycle of power is the full moon, throughout the year. Twilight is
also a power time for them and this is often the time of the first cries of the night.
Howling at the moon is very freeing. If you have not tried it before you should!

Wolf teaches freedom that is found through discipline. They have strong social

boundaries and are respectful of pack members. They avoid fighting if any way

possible. They have very keen senses and have often been associated with psychic
abilities.

Spirit have each included some beautiful meditations in their empowerments. You can
also use the symbols and energy of Animal Path Healing or Usui Reiki (ie:CKR) to
increase your connection to wolf.
