Author
Foreward
This book, written by Mr. Karan Asnani is the result of a considerable
amount of research in the field of Indian Regional Journalism,
extensively focused upon the Marathi newspaper 'Sakal'. Visiting
Pune,i.e. the headquarters of the publication, and gathering the
required information through help and support of Mr. Ram Shelke,
Ashna Dhalait and Meghna Shetty, is a commendable effort and it
helped in attaining knowledge about the publication to materialize it
into this book. The effort is noteworthy.
