This spreadsheet is generic. It covers both new and existing chillers and constant and
variable flow condenser water scenarios. You will need to customize it for your
particular application by deleting or hiding extraneous rows and worksheets.
New Chiller Bids:
For example, for a new chiller bid to be evaluated with DOE-2 you should delete fields
like Yr Installed. You should also delete the Variable CW Flow worksheets since DOE-2
can only evaluate constant CW flow scenarios.
PG&E CAP Chillers:
For existing chillers in the CAP program you should delete fields such as "Delivery Lead
Time", "Fouling Factor" and the Constant CW Flow worksheets. CAP chillers are
evaluated using a simulation tool developed by Mark Hydeman which has the ability to
model variable condenser water flows.
