Events That Being Attended By Double Degree Students as Participant

During studying in Double Degree courses, there are several educational events that have
been attended by students as proof of the existence of international study programs. Neither class
of 2011, 2012, and 2013 are all participating in the event. The event is the European Higher
Education Fair (EHEF) held by the committee EHEF Indonesia itself and the Delegation of the
European Union.
Our purpose of following EHEF event is to introduce the Hochschule Wismar University
to high school students who are looking for a country outside the campus or college students who
are seeking to continue the program of Master (S2) and introduced the Double Degree Marine
Engineering program to the general public. Some EHEF event that was attended by students of
the Double Degree are:
1. EHEF 11 November 2014 at Surabaya
At EHEF event held in Surabaya, students who participated in the event were
students from the class of 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Quite a lot of people who are interested and want to know more about Hachschule
profile Wismar University. Most of them ask about interior design, electronics
engineering, and others ask other majors contained in Hochshule Wismar University.
It has not been much interested in Marine Engineering. But some of those who asked
about the Marine Engineering department, we explained that we were students
Double Degree Marine Engineering.
Most questions we hear a lot about the courses Double Degree Marine
Engineering is about how to enter this course, what are the requirements, and
whether to proceed to Germany as proof of the existence of international study
programs. They also asked whether college student takes when it will proceed to
Germany later. We explained that the Double Degree courses are Germany
cooperation program with Indonesia. So when will proceed to Germany later student
college is no longer needed.
After we explained in detail, quite a lot of people who are interested to enter this
Double Degree program.

2. EHEF 8 and 9 November 2014 at Jakarta

Technically execution EHEF in Jakarta is not much different in Surabaya. But the
majority of people looking for the campus to continue the program of Master (S2).
Most of them also asked whether the Hochschule Wismar University has a program
of Medicine. We explained that the Hochschule Wismar University is a campus
engaged in Science Technology, Business and Design.
Not much different from Surabaya, many people inquire about the courses Double
Degree Marine Engineering. Back again we explain in detail about the course of this

In addition EHEF event held in Surabaya and Jakarta, we also made visits to
schools, addressed to students of class XII who are seeking to go to college
campuses.
One of the schools that we went to was SMAN 1 Garut, Garut, West Java. See the
response of students to our presentation, quite a lot of students who are interested in
this Double Degree courses. Various kinds of the questions posed to us.

Indeed, not many people know about this Double Degree program. But we have
been trying to introduce the study program to the public. The hope is that there will
be more interested and went into the study program. Make more Marine Engineer
that qualified and professional.
