Syarikat akan mengumpul jumlah mata CCD bagi setiap pekerja tetap

Module 1: Introduction
- Terminologies related to hazards, risks and accidents.
- Exposure to accidents and its causes and consequences happens in construction
site, and
- Understood and be able to elaborate the basic method of accidents prevention
Module 2: Integrating safety culture in construction industry
- Nature of construction in industry
- Principles of Total Safety Culture
- Team player in the construction project team
Module 3: Preparing for work
- This section covers planning and organising the job to ensure health and safety is
taken into account from the very beginning.

Abstract
Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 as well as OSH
management system such OHSAS 18001, one of the requirements is
to have a safe working place for the workers and also those who might
affects by the activities of the workers. It requires any organization to
identify occupational hazards and risks resulted from their activities
and workplace and determine the best safe system of works which
may include safe working procedures and instruction in order reduce
or eliminate those hazards and risks.

Objective
This course is aimed to expose the participants on issues
relating to the construction safety either directly or indirectly involves in
its activities. It provides help and assistance on how to work safely on
most tasks the workers will encounter. It will also help to identify the
main causes of accidents and ill health and explains how to eliminate
hazards and control risks. The guidance is simple but comprehensive.
The solutions are straightforward and easy to adopt.

Trainers Profile
Engr. Norrazman Zaiha bin Zainol is a degree holder in
Mechanical Engineering and Master in Business Administration (Engineering
Management) He is certified Safety and Health Officer from NIOSH. He is
certified trainer for Safety Induction for Construction Workers (SICW) under
CIDB and has been conducting safety induction training for hundreds of
construction personnel, engineering staff and students. He has combination
experience in projects, facilities management and safety management for
more than 10 years.

Module 4: Setting up the site


- This section deals with setting up the site before work starts to ensure the
fundamental health and safety issues have been addressed.
DAY 2
Module 5: Construction-phase safety and health
- This section summarises the main requirements for controlling and supervising
site activities to ensure safe systems of work are followed. It helps the reader to
identify health and safety hazards found on many sites and advises on how to
control the risks that can arise. It then outlines the requirements for monitoring and
reviewing to ensure site health and safety is maintained through to completion of
the job.
Module 6: Case study Safety issues
- This section identifies the most common accident happens at sites which resulted
death, injury and/or permanent disability. The section will focus on safety of workers
and sets out straightforward precautions. Applying this advice will make work safer
and, in most cases, improve efficiency.
Module 7: Case study Health issues
- At sites, worker also expose to hazardous substances that affect their health. The
health problems normally undetected in early stage but in the long run, it will affect
the health if untreated. This section will highlight few common health issues and its
preventive measures to ensure elimination or minimization of health hazards for
better working environment.
Module 8: Safety and Health management and the law
- Relevant act and regulations that govern the safety and health of the people
working at site.
