Blur

Money has an exchange-value which is to exchange things that people want to buy. Things
that people want to buy contain their happiness and need. However, this shows that money has a
power to blind the peoples sight. To see this happening, this mere writing will show in what aspects
that are blinded by money, and purpose, hopefully, solutions.
First, it comes to the age. People will find a way to collect the money without seeing their
age. It can be seen on the screen of reality, especially, for public transportation that there is no rule
whether the driver must be this older or younger (but the fact is there is a driver license). It means
that people by all ages can drive any vehicle. To cover up this problem, supervision is needed. The
watchers must be a person (police) or some kind of technology (such as a CCTV).
The second is education. The role of education here becomes vague because of the
existence of Skill. If person has a good skill in English for example, he or she can easily get a job in
some company (which needs the English skilled person). With skills, people can easily earn much
money. And also, the talented people somehow affect this. It seems that people such as them can
be rich naturally for example, Cinta Laura, she is good at both singing and speaking. The solution is
that it is necessary to tell the people that gaining skills must be through education and the talent is,
of course, a gift, but without sharpening it without education, it will be nothing.
The last is moral. Moral is very necessary in this life. And money ruins this plot. By money,
people commit a bad action such as corrupting. A person considered that she or he is good person
can be broken because of money. Many people are blind only because of wanting to get much
money. So, to solve this problem, the role of rule for these people must be simplified and supervised
well. The simple rule will ease the supervisor to see what happens.
In Islamic perspective, people must contemplate which they can see themselves through
these problems. In some verses (Al Muminuun: 99 100, Al Araaf: 53) in Al Quran say that people
in another world wants to come back to this earthy world, because they regret what they have done.
Especially in Al Araaf: 53, Allah has sent some prophets to the earth, but still, some people do not
listen. The best example is the last prophet, Muhammad SAW. He represented himself as a human
being in front of Allah even though he knew that he was already chosen. By his doing, many people
until now are following and applying into their lives. The second is gratefulness. People exactly
cannot count how much the pleasure that is made by Allah (An Nahl: 18) means that people have to
be grateful for what they have gotten even it is just little (still uncountable). Furthermore, when
gratefulness does not exist in peoples hearts, the catastrophe will come (as explained in previous
paragraphs) and when gratefulness exists, Allah will send more luckiness (Ibrahim: 7).
To sum up, the processes of blurring because of money are included in three aspects: age,
education, and moral. To cover these problems must be through supervising, education itself, and
simple rule. In Islam, people must contemplate and be grateful for what Allah has sent to them.
