We, the graziers, undertake to graze

From ..to
The grazing charges are as follows :
1 November 31 December
$4.00 plus GST per calf per week
1 January - 31 March
$4.75 plus GST per calf per week
1 April
- 31 May
$5.50 plus GST per calf per week
Payment is to be made on the 20th of the month in progress ( i.e. November grazing to
be paid 20th November).
The Graziers warrant that there has been no history of TB, EBL, Brucellosis,
Leptospirosis or Pink Eye on the
Property & that the livestock will be managed with good husbandry in accordance with
efficient farming practices.
The Graziers undertake to maintain fences & gates on the property so that the livestock
are adequately contained.
The Graziers will administer appropriate parasite control products i.e. drench or pouron at the recommended
Intervals with the Livestock Owners being responsible for providing the control
products. The Graziers will
Administer zinc sulphate via the farm water supply during recognized high eczema
spore count periods. The
Graziers will provide the zinc and charge the Livestock Owners for the amount used. If
additional or alternative
Eczema protection is preferred e.g. Zinc bullets, that will be the responsibility of the
Livestock Owners to provide
& administer. The Graziers will provide adequate facilities and yard the livestock. If
bloat treatment is required,
the Livestock Owners will be charged for the product used.
The Graziers request that the Livestock Owners inspect their stock at regular intervals
to monitor stock growth,
& advise the Graziers of any concerns straight away. The Graziers will take all
reasonable steps to correct any

concerns as advised by the Livestock Owners. The Graziers will provide

supplementary feed to cover the normal
seasonal climatic extremes. In the event of a prolonged serious climatic extreme, the
Livestock Owners will either
provide extra supplementary feed or destock appropriately.
The Livestock Owners will ensure that on delivery, all livestock are identified as per
AHB regulations i.e. LIC
Brass & plastic tags. The livestock will be dehorned before 1 yr old. The Livestock
Owners warrant that the
Livestock are from TB & EBL free herds. They are to be free of Pink Eye &
vaccinated at the appropriate time
For leptospirosis. The disposal of any livestock that may die are the responsibility of
the Livestock Owners.
The Livestock Owners will not move livestock on or off the Graziers property without
prior notice to the Graziers.
Any difference of opinion as to unsatisfactory performance that cannot be resolved, will
be referred to an
Independent Farm Management Consultant for final determination.
