Currently playing in West End Londons Prince Edward Theater, the Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schnberg mega-musical Miss Saigon made its highly anticipated return to the stage earlier this year in a revival debut marked by record-breaking ticket sales, rave reviews, and a
phenomenal 6-month season extension.
With stellar performances from a critically-acclaimed cast led by Eva Noblezada (Kim), Jon Briones (The Engineer), Alistair Brammer (Chris), and Rachelle Ann Go (Gigi), the 2014 revival production of the hit musical which skyrocketed the budding career of Tony winner and Disney Legend Lea Salonga to record heights in its original 1989 production continues to play to packed houses since its debut on May 22. Miss Saigon also recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a special Gala night featuring special performances, which brought together the musicals present cast members and reunited primary cast members of the original 1989 production - headed by Salonga (Kim), Simon Bowman (Chris), and Jonathan Pryce (The Engineer) - on the stage of The Prince Edward Theater. Miss Saigon 2014s West End revival production is directed by Laurence Connor with Musical Staging by Bob Avian; additional choreography by Geoffrey Garratt featuring production design by Totie Driver and Matt Kinley based on an original concept by Adrian Vaux; costume design by Andreane Neofitou; lighting design by Bruno Poet; sound design by Mick Potter; and orchestrations by William David Brohn. Musical supervision is by Stephen Brooker and John Rigby and Musical direction by Alfonso Casado Trigo.
