says Arjun Mohandas, MD, vice chief of staff, SEBD.
We hope this donation will serve as an example to others
who may be able to support SEBD in the future, add the
Allens. We are fortunate to be able to help out financially,
and as residents of Luling, we feel a responsibility to help
where we can because SEBD is such a valuable resource for
our community.

Care-A-Van Embraces
Vulnerable Children
Your support of the Care-A-Van is lifting up and healing
endangered children. Stop and think about that. Its a
precious gift to give. No example could be more telling than
the Care-A-Vans work with Legacy Ranch.

SEBD Welcomes
Pink Heals
Last November, a pink fire truck made a heart-healing
stop at Seton Edgar B. Davis Hospital as part of the Pink
Heals-Hays County outreach programa volunteer-based
program to bring love, hugs, and financial support to
women fighting cancer and disease.
Its all about giving a hug to someone who needs it, said
Chris Chomel, who works for the Seton-operated Caldwell
County EMS and volunteers for Pink Heals locally and
nationally. He explains that Pink Heals raises local dollars
and keeps them local, making funds almost immediately
available to the community.
More than 60 women and their families arrived at Seton
Edgar B. Davis for the opportunity to sign the Sutphen
Engine fire truck in honor of their fight against cancer and
disease, or in memory of those who lost that fight.
