    ofoscillatorsareavailablewhicharebasedontheirperformanceandcomponentsused,like
    Weinbridgeoscillator,HartlyColpittsoscillatoretc.Herewearegoingtostudyhowwecan
    obtainRCPhaseshiftOscillatorusingasilicontransistor.Inanoscillatorthefrequency
    generatingcircuitisdecidedbythecircuitelementsused.Abasicoscillatorcircuitcontainsthe
    followingparts
    1. Amplifier
    2. Frequencyselectivenetwork
    3. Positivefeedbackfromoutputtoinput

    Conditionforsustainedoscillations
    ThebasicsofoscillatorcircuitmustobeyBarkhusenscriteriatoprovidesustainedoscillation,it

    amplifierandistheloopgainorfeedbackfactor.)
    Netphaseshift(ortotalphaseshift)aroundthecircuitmustbe0or360.
