RULING PLANETS AND KRISHNAMURTI

Prof K.S. Krishnamurti devised the ruling planets taking the cue from the
works of Brihat Jataka of Varaha Mihira and also after a thorough study of
PNE charts. He also felt that increasing the Ruling Planets from the 5 will
also be difficult to eliminate when fixing the events.
We shall now study a few examples where the ruling planets helped to
predict the actual date when the event is fructified.
Example No: 1
A parcel was sent by a friend of mine to USA and a question arose in the
mind of my friend as to when the parcel will reach the destination.
A time chart was drawn by my friend with the following details:
Date of Judgment: 1st Feb 2015; Time of Judgment: 13:11:02 hrs; Place of
Judgment: Muscat, Oman and forwarded the details to me for further
analysis.
We shall not discuss the time chart, but to the ruling planets as appearing on
the day and time of judgment.

Analysis of Ruling Planets on 1st Feb 2015

1. Rahu was in Hastham constellation and hence Mercury Sign and Moon
star.
2. Mars aspects Rahu by 8th aspect. Rahu will also signify Mars
3. By applying rule 1 the final RP will be Sun, Rahu, Venus only.
At the time of judgment, one will be sure of delivery within a few days and
Moon has to be moved to the correct position. As Sun, Venus, and Rahu, are
the final RPs the moon should transit either Leo or Libra for the event to
fructify. On the day of Judgment Moon is in Gemini and we have to move to

Leo or Libra. I am giving more importance to Rahu as nodes are stronger

and hence the Leo sign is also ignored (because no constellation of Rahu in
Leo sign) and only Libra sign is taken in to account.
Moon will transit in Libra-Rahu Star on 11 th February 2015. The day is
Tuesday Mars is not in the ruling Planet. Hence we should ignore this date.
Then we have to wait for one month for the moon to reach Libra-Rahu Star.
On March 10, 2015 Moon transits in Libra Swathi constellation (Rahu) and
the day is Monday ruled by Moon. Moon is one of ruling planets.
Hence the delivery will be made positively on 10th March 2015
Conclusion: The parcel was delivered on 10th March 2015.
Example No: 2
The Second example is also of the parcel. Here the parcel was sent to my
friend at Port Blair on 26 March 2015 from Mumbai. Till 15 th April 2015, the
parcel did not reach the addressee i.e. my friend. He requested me to work
out the date of delivery of the parcel astrologically as he Knew that I am
following KP System.
Date of Judgment: 15th April 2015
Time of Judgment: 22:11 hrs
Place of Judgment: Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, India

On the Day of Judgment,

1. Rahu is in Mercury Sign, Moon Star
2. Ketu is in Jupiter Sign, Saturn Star
3. Rahu and Ketu will replace Mercury and Jupiter respectively
The final Ruling Planets are Rahu, Ketu, Saturn,
The day lord at the time of delivery could be Wednesday, Thursday, or
Saturday
The constellation for which Rahu is the lord falls in Gemini, Libra or Aquarius
The constellation for which Ketu is the lord falls in Aries, Leo and Sagittarius

The Libra, Aries and Leo signs are ignored because the sign lords have not
figured in the ruling planets. Now Moon has to be moved to the signs listed
above and the day lord should also be checked with the ruling planets. On
the day of judgment, Moon is in aquarius and in Rahu star. So we move to
the next possible date. On 23 rd April 2015 the parcel could be delivered or
my friend will take delivery of the parcel that day.
My friend confirmed the delivery of the parcel on 23 rd April 2015 before
departing to Kerala the next day.
Example No: 3
This was a case where there was a delay in the credit of salary amount in to
the bank account of my friend. As he is also following KP system, he himself
worked out the day when he will obtain the credit in to his bank account.
When he failed to receive the amount as per his findings, he contacted me
for further advice.

Rahu is in Mars Star Mercury sign
Ketu is in Jupiter sign, Mercury star
Rahu aspects Saturn, Venus, sun in Scorpio and Jupiter in Cancer ie. 3,11
aspects. Rahu will deliver results of Saturn, Venus, Sun and Jupiter. As Rahu
does not have any signs, the event can be fructified on Friday, Saturn,
Thursday, or Sunday. Generally Sunday is a holiday Sunday can be ignored.
That leaves us with Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The lord of Friday is
Venus and Venus is in the sub of sun (negating house 5) the native cannot
receive salary on Friday. As already three weeks passed, there will not be any
further delay. So I concentrated on Saturday 22 nd November 2014. As I was
confident of receiving salary on 22 nd November 2014, I started moving the
lagna to coincide with the ruling planets and at the same time Moon will
transit Scorpio(Mars sign) and Anuradha star(Saturn owner). When we are
moving lagna to the desired place, the bank account of the native will be
credited with the salary amount. The lagna reaches Ashwini Star (Ketu is the
ruler of the star) at 16:00 hrs, the native will get his salary amount credited
to his bank account. Actually the native received an SMS message from the
bank that the salary is credited to his account at 16:01:22 hrs.
