General Learning Objectives
1. Course Description
The course of tropical medicine system is a portion of Biomedical Program of School of
Medicine Universitas Padjadjaran that covers the most common tropical and environmental
diseases and it's essential clinical, behavioral and community aspects.
2. General Learning Objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to explain the characteristics etiology,
epidemiology, Pathogenesis, clinical and laboratory findings, complications and
preventions, and to analyse the principles of diagnosis and management of treatment of
the most common tropical diseases.
Besides that, the students are expected to be competent in performing basic clinical skills
pertinent to the cases and show proper attitude.
