CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS
Article 1
Name and Purpose
Section 1: The organization shall be called PSYCHOLOGICAL SOCIETY.
Section2: Objective
a. To provide assistance to All BS-Psychology in there dwelling school
b. To participate in our schools vision and aspirations.
c. To promote research amongst the member of the organization.
Article 2
Membership
Section 1: Any bonafide students of BS- Psychology
Article 3
Quorum
Section 1: There shall be half of the total number of members present to have votation to get the decision of
the group in a particular reason.
Article 4
Officers, Qualifications and Duties
Article 1- Offices and Duties
A. President shall plan agenda, preside all meetings, appoint committees, communicate regularly with
the moderator and other officers, and vote in a tie.
B. Vice President shall take over all duties of the president during the presidents absence and serve
Program Chair for the organization.
C. Secretary shall keep minutes and agenda of all meetings in a handle correspondence approved by
the moderator relating to the organization, and maintain a list of all active members and
committees in the file provided by the organization.
D. Treasurer shall collect monthly dues, deposit the funds in the organizational account, keep
financial records, disperse funds as directed by the moderator, and submit monthly and annual
reports organization.
E. Public Information Officer (PIO) shall be the one responsible of disseminating all information
about the organization.
F. Auditor shall be responsible of keeping records of all the organizational accounts
G. Year Level Representatives Representing there year level in the organization.
Article 2 Qualification
a. President only 3rd year students are qualified for these position.
b. Students from 1st to 3rd year are qualified to have the other positions, 4 th years students are relieved
from having a position (even they are relieved from having any position they still have there
responsibilities in the group as a member of the organization).

Article 5
Election
Section 1: The term of office is one school year.
Section 2: Nominations shall be taken on the 1st meeting done by the organization on the current school
year.
Section 3: Votes shall be counted by the incumbent president.
Section 4: Induction of officers will be on the acquaintance party of the school.
Section 5: Special election will be held if a vacancy occurs. The election should occur within a week of
vacancy. Members shall be noticed by the Public Information Officer.
Article 6
Impeachment Vacancies
Article 1: Any officer can be impeached if he/she is not able to do the job that the position he/she is
holding.
Article 2: Any vacant positions because of incapability, absence, incompetence of the society will be having
a snap election to have a new officer.
Article 7
Moderator
Section 1: A faculty member of the Psychology Department, and will serve as the advisor of the students.
These group shall have an advisor who is interested in the purpose of and gives counsel to the organization.
Article 8
Dues
Section 1:
A. Section 1. Member shall pay P50 as monthly dues.
B. Member shall give there payment to the organizational treasurer .
C. The society account must at least P5000 for the next academic year
Article 9
Meeting
Section1.
a.) The society shall have a monthly regular meetings.
b.) Special meetings can be called by the organizational moderator
Article 10
Committees
Section 1. Committees shall be created accordingly on what is needed.

Article 11
Rules of Order
Article 1. These Bylaws may be altered, amended or repeated be the majority of the active members,
following by a second reading so long as the change is in accordance with the national Psychological
Association, Bylaws and institution policies and procedure.
