Introduction:
The Consulting and IT Industry enjoys Global Competitive Advantage and according to
NASSCOM for FY2015, the export revenues have exceeded USD100B. Including the domestic

increasing complexity, maturity and deal sizes, the managers in this field need to be specialized
as well as, equipped with tools and techniques to be successful. The day of the generalist Project
Manager are numbered as today the customers are very demanding.
The objective of this course is to enable the participants in meeting the management challenges
faced in the Consulting and IT Industry in executing Projects and Support Engagements.
Engagement Management is a superset of Project Management as it includes Support

to meet the demands of working at higher levels like: Project Directors or Member of Project
Boards/ Steering Committees.
Objective:

Agile and ITIL
B. Understand the Programme/Project Governance process and the roles and responsibilities
of various stakeholders like Executive Sponsors, Steering Committee Members,
Programme/ Project Directors, Programme/Project Managers, Team Members .
