Make a brooch
Step 1
TRIM around your stitching,
leaving at least one unstitched
block all the way round and a
few extra in the top right of the
large buttery and top left of
the small one.
Step 2
GLUE a brooch pin to the back
of your butteries, then attach
jump rings to each. Cut the chain
in half and x to the end jump
rings to link up the butteries.

MEASURE round your basket
and cut your evenweave to 5cm
longer than this and 11cm wide.
Stitch the design along the
centre of the strip.

wall hanging
Step 1
TRIM your stitching to 31x29cm
and place right sides together
over your backing fabric. Stitch
all the way round, leaving a gap
at the top for turning.
Step 2
TURN your hanging right sides
out and press, then close the gap
with topstitch. Turn the top edge
over 2cm and stitch in place.
