We support some aspects of individualism and collectivism. We like the idea

Collective responsibility - Acknowledgment of collective responsibility is often made in response to

of keeping the general populations interests and overall well-being as our main

deep-rooted social problems that cannot be addressed by targeting individuals or a single group. We

concern. There are also aspects that relate with individualism that we agree with,

believe that many problems are not just caused by a single individual, but rather a larger group of

and the two tier healthcare system.

Collective interest - While individual members may have individual interests, these interests are
often better addressed by making them a common set of interests that the group can address
together. This is why TYBG believes in labour unions, which is a way for people working similar jobs to

voice their opinions to share and a way to help, and cooperation is the best way for people to

Individual rights & freedoms - TYBG believes strongly in such freedoms as freedom of religion,
association, and the right to life, liberty, and the security of the person.
Competition - TYBG believes in a laissez-faire system where many large companies are able to be
privately owned in able to increase the impact of supply and demand on the economy. This way, the
individual buyers desire to find the best quality product at the lowest price ensures that sellers
compete among themselves to provide a variety of products at the lowest prices.
Private property - We believe that physical property is considered private if an individual has paid for
the rights to own the property most likely a deed. Intellectual property can be shared among
individuals, if said individuals have paid for the right to use/view the created property. The creator of

Economic questions
What goods and services should we produce?
Our economic planners estimate what is needed
and the amount of labor of materials available.

materials to each producing segment of the

economy.
How will we produce the goods and services?
Provide jobs to the public in order to lower the
unemployment rate and continue the flow of
money in the economy. They are able to help us
produce the items we need as well as provide an
income for their families.
Who should the goods and services be distributed
to?
For basic goods and services, anyone is able to
access them and have them distributed to them.
For more luxurious items, any citizen thats able

to pay to purchase it is able to access it.

a vote that counts. With proportional representation,
each person votes for the party they want to win the

How We Will Handle Crises

Environmental Concerns - The environment is an important aspect, and we feel that proper education
about protection of the environment should be a requirement in schools. We also promote and
encourage people to recycle and compost, major businesses and corporations are encouraged to be
more eco-friendly because we will place a substantial find on those companies that have a large
amounts of pollutants.
Resource use and development - Corporations are able to develop and use natural resources to an
extent, if these resources are being misused and the land is being polluted then the corporations will
be held responsible and heavily punished.
Poverty - There are program that help to aid people that are financially unstable, there are also places
that offer shelter to those on the streets. We will help to direct some funds to keeping these shelters
open for those in need, they are important for improving the wellbeing of others.
Racism - There are several acts that go against racism, yet it is still in present day society. Everyone
has the right to express their own thought and values to an extent, they may not impose or infringe
upon another person's rights and believes.
Pandemics - When there is such an extreme life threatening outbreak such as H1N1, all citizens are
encouraged to get a vaccine because we would put more efforts towards preventing the spread of the
disease or virus. It is everyone's choice to get the vaccine it will not be forced upon individuals, but if
someone is infected they will need to be quarantined with other infected people.
Censorship - Censorship should only be used to width hold specific graphic information that could
possibly be found disturbing to an individual. People in Canada have the right to know what is
happening around the world; that can directly or indirectly affect their well-being and security.
