5Marvan Bin H:ACM is a controversial figure in Islamic History.Many myths are

6deliberately produced to distort the historicity of this unfortunate figure.
7Attempts are made to attack on S:ah:i:h: Al Bukhari based upon the misguided view
8of Marvan.
9The aim of this article is neither to defend Marva:n nor to attack him ,BUT to shew
10that the extremist view of Engineer Ali Mirza against this character is a secret
11weapon to attact S:AH:I:H: AL BUKHARI: .
12According to a number of Extremist Marvan was a Cafir or a Fasiq. Some Shiite
13minded proclaimers of Sunnism cross the limits by claiming one who believe that
14Marvan was a Muslim or S:alih: is out of folds of Sunnism.
15But real Sunnism takes a moderate VIEW ABOUT Marva:n.
16He was a Muslim and a SIQH Ravi [Tradition Narrator], whether he was a ASunni or
17not is not the issue at the moment.
18Many Rafid:I and Rafid:I minded persons , attact on Noble Bukhari THAT it has
19accepted a tradition even from Marvan. Some even go further to attack Imam Malic
20RH.
21It is proposed by some [ Apocryphal Rafid;si] that Marvan was the killer of Saiyidna
22Talh:ah RD in the war \battle of J-ml, even if they were on same sides.
23Some also attribute to him the act of killing of Saiyiduna Zubair RD.
24Engineer Ali Mirza claims that he had found a S:AH:IH: AL ASNA:D tradition
25[RAVA:YAH] which informs that at least one of the charge against Marva:n is true.
26Engineer Ali Mirza [an apocryphal Rafid:i] actually tries to accack on the credibility
27of IMAM BUKHARI, BUKHARI SHARIF, IMAM MALIC and MUVATTA SHARIF.

29IF A TRADITION WITH S:AH:H:I:H: Sanad is found which narrates that Marvan had
30atleast one of the two stated above S:AH:BI: even then the MATN[TEXT] of the
31tradition is Not MAH:FU:Z: [conserved] or the narrator and the eye witness of the
32event was mistaken.
33Since if this were the cases then neither of the two Great Imams would have
34accepted his traditions, not even s ingle one.
35Not even in support, not even as subsidiary tradition or assistant tradition etc.
36There is an Ijma: on Bukhari even ACCEPTED BY THE ENGINEER.
37So it is clear that if a S:AH:IH: UL ASNA:D TRADITION CONTRADICTETH AN IJMA: it is
38nullified.
39An other possible answer is that it might be an act of QATL AL KH-T:A: . That is in the
40event of the was it was just an accident that he killed one of the Great S:AH:ABI who
41was on his side. Such an act is logically and rationally possible and not impossible.
42WE MUST HAVE TO TAKE THESE POSITIONS OTHER WISE CRADIBILITY OF ALL SUCH
