s Low and high-beam Xenon headlights

feature four Corona rings for daytime driving
and automatic headlight beam throw control.
They provide the best possible illumination at
night and in poor visibility. In addition, Adaptive
Headlights with integrated turning lights adjust
to the driving dynamics, ensuring optimum
illumination. In tight corners, at speeds up to
65 km/h and when the indicator is switched on,
the turning lights are automatically activated,
whenever the automatic headlight activation
function is switched on.

o Active Cruise Control can be programmed

to maintain a set speed when the lane ahead
is clear, or to reduce speed to keep a safe
distance between you and a slower car in front,
automatically maintaining that distance until
the radar sensors detect that the lane is clear. In
addition, the active braking function ensures
that the desired speed is not surpassed even
when driving downhill.

o Park Distance Control (PDC), front

and rear or rear only, facilitates parking and
manoeuvring in tight spaces. A warning
signal sounds as the car approaches an
obstacle. In combination with the Navigation
system, visual warnings are also shown on
the display screen (see image).

o Auxiliary heating with remote control

(shown here in combination with navigation
system Professional) ideal in winter and on
cold days. When you get into your car, the
windows are already free of ice and the interior
is cosy and warm.

o Sports seat for driver and front passenger. Optimum lateral support is ensured by innitely
variable electric backrest width adjustment. Seat height, backrest and seat angle as well as thigh
support are manually adjustable (standard on 335i and 335d).

o HiFi system Professional LOGIC7

(pictured), with a total of 13 loudspeakers
and a switchable surround sound function
creating a luxurious soundscape within the
cabin environment. The central bass
concept using subwoofers makes for an
authentic bass sound.
o HiFi loudspeaker system with ten
loudspeakers delivers outstanding acoustic
quality.

s Standard equipment

s Airbag system: In a BMW, all safety features

complement eachother perfectly. So, for
example, in the event of a collision, only the
airbags that are needed are deployed. Up to six
airbags offer specic protection: the driver and
front passenger airbags, the front-to-rear head
airbags, and the front side airbags.

s Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) incl. CBC

and DBC (Dynamic Brake Control). DSC
recognises the risk of skidding from the start
and stabilises the car within milliseconds.
Traction mode (DTC) is a subsidiary function of
DSC and permits increased wheelslip within
defined limits, in order to maximise propulsion
in specific situations and enable a sportier
driving style.

s Cornering Brake Control (CBC) increases

vehicle stability when braking gently in a fast
bend. During braking manoeuvres, the load on
the rear wheels is reduced, which in bends can
lead to oversteering (1). In brake manoeuvres
that are outside the ABS control range, CBC
addresses this tendency using asymmetric
brake pressure control (2) in order to create a
stabilising counterforce (3).

s BMW restraint system for driver and front

passenger: This combination of three-point
seatbelt, pyrotechnic belt latch and belt force
limiter ensures optimised restraint in the event
of a collision.

s Runat tyres featuring reinforced side walls

which allow them to maintain their shape and rim
position even after suffering a complete loss of
pressure. The runat indicator is also standard,
and minimises the risks associated with tyre
failures. The driver is warned of a slight decline in
tyre pressure by a lamp in the instrument panel. If
the pressure loss is more serious, an additional
acoustic warning is triggered.

s Door reinforcements provide maximum

occupant protection in the event of a side
impact. Added strength is provided by diagonal
and horizontal cross-members in the doors.

s Bumpers with reversible aluminium impact

absorbers at the front (steel impact absorbers
at the rear) withstand impacts at up to 4 km/h
without damage. Special deformation zones at
the front and rear absorb impact forces at
speeds of up to 15 km/h without damage to
the cars body.

s Lightweight chassis with double-joint

spring-strut front axle and multi-link rear
suspension. Many of the chassis components
are made of aluminium, to ensure excellent
ground contact and the highest degree of
driving safety.

o Adaptive headlights including turning

lights have movable headlights that optimally
illuminate any bend. Sensors register the
steering angle, yaw rate and driving speed, and
the headlights then automatically adapt to the
calculated layout of the bend to ensure that,
after dark and in poor visibility, the illumination
of the road is ideally adjusted to driving
dynamics.

The figure quoted is based on a 90% full tank, 68 kg for the driver and 7 kg for luggage. Unladen weight
applies to vehicles with standard equipment. Special equipment increases this figure.
The petrol engines are designed for RON 98 grade fuel. They can be run on fuel down to RON 91 (for 335i
RON 95-98), with a decrease in power.
All engines comply with the EU4 standard. Fuel consumption is calculated on the basis of the ECE
driving cycle. This is made up of approximately one third urban and two thirds extra-urban driving (based
on distance covered). In addition to fuel consumption, CO2 emissions are measured.
Electronically limited.
Height of the 335i and 335d is 1,375 mm.
Rear track width of the 335i and 335d is 1,507 mm.
Only available in combination with 6-speed automatic.
