If you get an error message like the one in the image below, there are several checks that need to be performed:
1) Make sure you have the following folders installed in your Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft directory:
FFS
FFS
FFS
FFS
FFS
Saab
Saab
Saab
Saab
Saab
340 Argus
340 Argus No Radar
340 Cargo
340A
340B
Each aircraft should have sub directories containing one or more model folders, a panel, sound, and one or more
texture folders. In addition, you should also see an air file and an aircraft.cfg file. If you do not have these files,
run the uninstall program from your start menu for the Saab package, and then reinstall the whole package. This is
done as a precaution. When reinstalling, it is important that you dont run any other software except the installer.
3
3) If you have renamed any of the FFS Saab 340 project folders, this would cause this error. Make sure you
change the name back to their original name. If you dont remember their respective names, uninstall the Saab
software package and reinstall the Saab software package again.
Once you get the Saab LCM started, you will be able to perform a series of functions to set your Saab aircraft to your
liking.
You will be able to perform functions such as setting the fuel amount in each wing, selecting the number of
passengers, any luggage they may be carrying, cargo items and weights, empty current loads, restore default loads,
as well as many other functions.
Registering Your Saab 340 Gauges
In order for the Saab gauges to display and function, you will need to register your software package using the LCM
tool. To register your gauges, open the LCM. Click on the Gauge Settings tab (shown in the image below).
When you click the tab, you will get a screen like the one shown in the image above. To register the gauges, you will
need information from your FFS account. You will find the product registration information above your download link
