OHIO HOUSE POLICY COMMITTEE OFFERS REAL GOVERNMENT REFORM

THROUGH ACCOUNTABLE, EFFICIENT & TRANSPARENT SOLUTIONS

To restore efficiency and accountability to state spending and to reduce the tax
burden on Ohio’s families, House Republicans have authored the following
proposals:

HOUSE BILL 25 – Consolidates state agencies, streamlines state government.


HOUSE BILL 65 – Requires performance budgeting by state agencies and requires
performance audits of those agencies. This audit will identify wasteful spending
and inefficiencies.
HOUSE BILL 66 – Creates the State Government Efficiency Commission. This
commission will hold our state government accountable and curb our
bloated, inefficient government, while expanding the private sector in
