RESEARCH OBJECYIVES

Objective to study the investment criteria of different personnel and


awaeness among public about demat .

Its purposeis to create various benefit of demat account

It help in determining future demand for Demat A|C as more people


become aware of it .

It also generates data for telemarketing in a sense that the potential and
efforts would be made to influence these research objectives .
Setting up the research objectives is the most important think in any research
project .research objectives define, what we want to achieve and what the end
point of our research is plans are arranged in a hierchy within the organization.
At the top of the hierarchy stand objectives . objectives are the broad end of the
organization which, are achieved by means of strategies . objectives are goal or
aims which management wishes the organization to achieve .
Ther to main objectives : They are primary objective and secondary objectives.
Which involves finding out the customer awareness and market potential of
Demat A|c service .

Data Needs:
The most important and essential thing of a research is data Inaccurate may
spoil our objective . as the concept Garbage in Garbage applies in IT sector
we can say inaccurate inputs may give inaccurate data which differ
considerably in context of money, cost, time and other resources at the disposal
of the researcher .
There are two type of data :

Primary data
Socond data
Primary Data : These data can be collected either through experiment nor
through servey . These data are collected afresh and for the first time, and thus
happen to be original in character .
Secondary Data : these data have already been collected by someone else and
which have an already has been passed statistical process .
The primary obnjective is concerned with finding customer awareness and their
satisfaction regarding demat services and taking remedial actions to overcome
this problem. To achieve this objective primary data will be collected with help
of questionnaire .

To achieve secondary objective i.e. find out different parameters for


choosing a Demat A|c , primary data will be needed and through the same
questionnaire different parameters will be identified and the secondary data are
very useful like published private data , magazines , internet in order to find out
market potential of Demat A|c services.
Research Design :
Decision regarding what, where , when ,howmuch, by what meant concerning
an inquiry or a research research constitute a research design . It is the
arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data in a manner that
aims to combine relevance to the search purpose with the economy in
procedure . Here in this study research design includes population , sampling
frame , sampling technique and survey technique .
1. Population or universe :
It can be finite or infinite . in case of finite universe the number of items is
certain but in case of infinite universe the number of items is uncertain. In our
research we are going to collect primary data with help of questionnaire to
identified the costumer awareness and market potentially of Demat services.
For this purpose the universe will include all person .
2. Sampling Frame :
It is also known as source list from which sample is to be drawn. It contains
the names of all items of a universe. In this research our Sampling frame will be
the list of all Demat A|c holders and also non demat a|c holders.
3. Sampling Technique :
The primary data has been collected from the existing customer the help
of questionnaire. In my research project I used random sampling based on
judgment and convenience. This universe was all the customers a sample size
of 100 customers .

4. Survey Techniques :
It includes the techniques that we are going to follow to collect primary as well
as Secondary Data .
Primary data : The primary data of this research has been collected
through questionnaire. A questionnaire consist a number of Questions
printed or typed in a definite order. The responds are expected to read it
and write down the reply in the space meant for the purpose .
Secondary Data : This type of data is already available and refers to
the data , which have already been collected and analyzed by someone
else. Secondary has been collected and analyzed by someone else.
Secondary has been collected to know the investment criteria of
different personnel and market potentially of Demat A|c services in
KOTAK MAHIDRA. For this purpose this data was collected through
Journals , Magazines , Newspaper , useful internet sites and Brouchers
issued by KOTAK MAHINDRA .

Limitation of study :
1. the research area was restricted only in some area. This may not reflect the
exact market potentiality and investment criteria of the customers .
2. Sample size was less due to limitations of time, means and resources forced
for small size .
3. Questionnaire includes 22 questions which affect the mentality of responds
that is time consuming which is a common problem that unknown person
behave artificially when they are being observed and interviewed. This human
behaviour may distort the result.
