Yarn: almost 3 balls of DK weight yarn bought on ebay; 50g / 147yards per ball.
Needle: I used US size7 (4.5mm) though a smaller size (4mm) might have produced better results.

Cast off
There are two clues that helped me figure out the big picture when knitting:

Identify the central st: when you cast on 15 stitches, the central st is the 8 th st. In other words, there are 7 st
before and 7 st after the central st throughout the first 30 rows. Row 31, the yo is done before and after that
central st. The number of stitches between the two yo will grow 1-3-5-7 in rows 31-33-35-37, or rows 4143-45-47, or 51-53-55-57, and so on. No matter the front left or right, or the back panel, this simple yet
pretty pattern works the same way. Start with yo k1 yo (k1 is the central st), then grow till yo k7 yo. To me,
the rows 39/40, 49/50, etc., are like taking a break from the yo and transition from the end of the pattern
into a new start of the next repeated pattern.
There are two garter stitch bands on every piece. It helps if you place a marker between the garter stitch
bands and the knit/purl section where the main pattern happens. (or you can visually tell the line between
the garter stitch and the main/central section.)

Repeat in spirit always keep the garter stitch bands on both sides as in rows39/40, do the yo k1 yo at the central
stitch (as in row 31). The number of k (after the garter st band) before [yo k1 yo] goes up by 4 stitches after each
repeat of rows 31-38.
Note: throughout the repeat, the markers should stay in their original positions.

You can remove the markers from now on because the lace patterns wont need the markers anymore.

are only 74 stitches but this is not crucial as you can easily notice and adjust by doing p2 before the last 5 st)

*16* will need to go to 20 in first repeat 24 in next and so on.... (the "knit 16" before the first yo and after the second
yo will go up by 4 st every repeat you go, meaning, k16 will become k20 in row 43; k24 in row 53, k28 in row 63...)

You can remove the markers from now on because the lace patterns wont need the markers anymore.
Next knit
Next k8 p89 k16 (113sts)
Start Lace (Here is the error in the original version: Since the total stitches are 113 instead of 89, you may want to
adjust your lace stitches. I didnt do anything until the last few stitches because I didnt notice the error until I
finished the first lace row. Every lace pattern is 5 st, just in case you want to change the starting point. Sorry I
didnt do the lace very well and wont be able to offer any good advice here until I knit a 2nd piece in the future.)

Piece all three pieces together. Sew on buttons. It seems hard to find the right positions for the buttons but
MissMolly did a great job on both of her lemon and pink version. (I tried only once so please ask MissMolly about
the buttons as she is way more experienced in this and she does great work.)
