When Posting or writing a message, remember:

Emotions:-Dont use Upper case letters is considered rude as if
you are shouting..
TEACHER, I CAME TO YOUR OFFICE MANY TIMES , YOU WERE
NOT THERE.
Be polite when disagreeing to others.
16

Netiquette of Sending
Be Brief : Since long messages
take a lot of time. Make
messages short and to the point.
Use White Space : Put a blank
lines when required in the

Netiquette of Sending
Use Descriptive Subject Lines : The meaning
should be clear at a glance.
Stay On-Topic : Talk only about the subject in
the forum.
Sending Attachments : Large attachments
sent by email to people with slow internet
connection is inconvenient.

18

Netiquette for Replying

Reply to sender : When some one asks a

question on the forum, send them a reply
directly instead of posting a reply on the forum.

Minimize forwarding : Forward emails only to

people interested.

Check Current Information Before Replying :
Always check your recent email or the most
recent posted messages before replying to
someone else's message

Reference Past Communications : include a
