Load Break Switches

Guide
It is an integration of the two functions (Isolating + Switching).
To describe a load break switch, we have to know the following:
1. No of poles [3P, 4P, 6P or 8P]
2. Operation [Direct operation or External operation]
3. Rating [xxx Amps]
Socomec has a full range of LBS [16A 3200A] divided into
1. Sirco M [16A 100A]
2. Sirco [125A 3200A]
Selections
1. If we need a 3P switch [select the 3P switch from Sirco M or Sirco according to rating]
2. If we need a 4P switch [select the 3P switch + 4th pole from Sirco M or select the 4P switch
from Sirco]
3. If we need a direct operation switch [select the direct operation handle from the accessories
list]
4. If we need an external operation switch [select the external operation handle + the shaft
extension from the accessories list]
5. If we need a 6P switch:
i) For rating from 16A-100A [select 2 switches from the desired rating + 1 conversion kit ref.
22696009]
ii) For rating from 125A-1600A [select 1 complete switch from Sirco]
6. If we need an 8P switch:
i) For rating from 16A-100A [select 2 switches from the desired rating + 2 forth pole from

One of our special ranges is the ATyS which is a Motorized change over switches and can be divided
1- ATyS S [40A-125A] 4 poles only used in Transformer-Generator applications with a motor with
supply voltage of 12VDC, 24VDC & 230VAC
2- ATyS [125A-3200A] motorized change over switch for Transformer-Generator applications
3- ATyS T [125A-3200A] motorized change over switch for Transformer-Transformer applications
with a built-in controller
4- ATyS G [125A-3200A] motorized change over switch for Transformer-Generator applications
with a built-in controller
5- ATyS P [125A-3200A] motorized change over switch for Transformer-Generator applications
with a built-in smart controller
Controllers:
C30 used for ATyS S & ATyS for Transformer-Generator applications
C40 used for ATyS S & ATyS for Generator-Generator applications
6. In some places (cases) we need always to supply some loads with power, so now let us imagine in
strengthening towers and you need always power so on what will you rely on? An ATS panel
containing too many components (timers, relays,...etc; or an ATS panel with just two components
too much maintenance to the panel and even if a failure occurred to the panel you have always the
choice to overcome the motor and the controller and operate it manually,..etc
