interested in partici pating in thi! program. Wc would like to rcqUC$l: a combined tmrong

notify youthm Ihe Office of the Assislanl SeeMary for U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforc!.>menl (ICE) has received your request for 287(g) Dclcgmion of Authority traini ng for
the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office.

On June 11.2007. the Program Manager for 187(g) Ddegmion of Authority al ICE
Headquarters forwarded your rt'queSI for participation in the 287(g) program to the Special
Agent in Charge (SAC). and the Field Operations Dircelor ( FOD) fOT the SAC Tampa and
FOD Miami areas of n:sponsibiIity (AOR). The SAC and FOD. along with a member of yom
staff will need 10 conduct a feasibility assessment slUdy. After completion. the 3<;!ieSsmenl ""ill
be fCviewed at ICE Headquartt'TS and a determination will be made to either accept or deny
your request to participate in the program.
