Canadian Partners Visited and Blessed Filipino Church Planters

Don King and Team from Grace Point Fellowship Canada visited and blessed the church planters in the
Philippines. The team composed of four adults and nine youth went to the Philippines from June 21 to
July 1. They are determined to be a blessing to everyone they came in touched with!

Marikina City: Pastor Daniel Casuga’s church.

The team witnessed the ministry

of Pastor Daniel with the out-of-
school youth. Their church helps
the government provide an
accelerated high school education
with aging young people who
were not able to go to school and finshin high school.

Pastor July David: Pasig City, Metro Manila

Pastor July got all wet as heavy

down pour of rains caught us as we
went to his fellowship. He was on a
motorcycle while we were in a van.
Experiencing heavy rains in Metro Manila

We were trapped for a while until the rain subsided. Then there was a flooded street!

Organizing a Bible school for White Fields church planters and churches in Quezon province.

Through the
Ministry of
Global
Mission
Fellowship
headed by
Pastor Ralph
Larosa, a 6-
month
training
program was
presented to
the pastors of Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Quezon provinces.

In the picture are four of our current churchplanters:

Wilson Andres, Romy Hintay, Hernando Ico, Reynold
Boringot. All of them sent their trainees in the new
Bible Training center. Pastor Teddy Armamento and
his son were not able to make it but his son will be
part of the trainees too.

We thank God for this provision for upcoming leaders

and I am thankful for being part of its beginning.
Pastor Wilson Andres: Kalayaan, Laguna

The
team
was so
touch
ed at
the
conditi
on of
the
church
of
Pastor Wilson. They use his house as the
place for worship and fellowship. They
just put up a small mezzanine for their
bedroom. They have been praying for funds so they can put up a separate place for the church even if it
was made of ordinary materials. The team gathered funds and contributed for the cost of the makeshift
church building.

The empty space in front of the

team will be the place where
the church building will be built.
The members who were there
were emotionally grateful.

Pastor Wilson was just blessed!

Pastor Roger De Ocampo: Mabitac, Laguna

I was even surprised to see Pastor Roger De

Ocampo again. He now has a church building made

of concrete and solid materials. I remember almost
seven years ago that they were just meeting in a wooden, wall less building with thatched roof. People
were kind of laughing at them. Then he used the cockpit arena as the fellowship venue which made
many people intrigued because it is used for gambling. But he won the owner of the cockpit arena to the
Lord! By God’s grace, they now have a permanent worship center.

Jamie King, son of Don, celebrated his 16th birthday in the field and was surprised by a celebration in
Pastor Roger’s church.

Pastor Ruben Teorica: San Pablo City, Laguna

partners with Pastor Romy in
doing evangelism in the area. He
is not the main church planter
but more of an associate whose
work is evangelism.

The team gave some funds so

that the church could have a
marker outside the streets so
people will know that there is a
church there. The church is
located very inward in the
community area.
Pastor Michael Bausin: Dasmarinas, Cavite

Pastor Michael really prepared something for the team. However, since we lack time, we were able to
be there for awhile. They prepared “Pansit” for us.

Pastor Romy Hintay and the Paliparan church and School.

The team interacted with the children, visited homes and

fellowshi
p with the
people in
Paliparan.
They gave
an
assistance
for the
school’s
clinic as required by the government and also for
the repairs of some portions of the church.

We also visited Pastor Cecilio Miranda in Laurel, Batangas, whom I have no picture to show.
Many experiences cannot be contained in this short report:

Pastor Brian Lavender leads the adults in

painting the outer walls of the church in
Pasay.

They painted another school and church wall in Rizal,

Laguna.

Interacted in Classrooms of the school in

Pasay.

We pray that the team especially the youth were blessed to

be a blessing to all people, pastors, children, parents, that
they all come to fellowship with.

May they continue to have the passion for missions in their hearts! We are so blessed and thank ful for
this wonderful opportunity of being with them in those blessed time.
