Discussion Worksheets

To the student:
Classes are more interesting when discussions are lively and deal with topics that you
are prepared to discuss. The students in my classes appreciate knowing about class
discussion issues in advance so they can take notes related to the issues as they read
the chapter that has been assigned. When they bring their notes to class, they find it
less intimidating to join the discussion. They use their notes as a guide and they are
more likely to participate because they have thought about the discussion questions in
advance. I hope you have a similar experience if these worksheets are used in your
course.
