Peru is 496,200 square miles, and the population is 30.38 million. Perus
nickname is The Land of The Incas. Peru is located north of Chile, and it is bordered by
Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Ecuador. Peru may not be the a popular country in
the world but here are three reasons, it has beautiful places, great authors/illustrators,
and has amazing exports that help Peru and other countries.
The first reason why Peru is a magnificent country is because it has many
amazing authors and illustrators, but I am going to be focusing on Manuel Ricardo
Palma Soriano. Manuel Ricardo Palma Soriano was born on February 7, 1833 in Perus
capital, Lima.1 After Manuel finished school he was in the military for 6 years, when he
returned from the navy he was involved in Peruvian politics. 2 Manuel had many
achievements but he was best known for his literary achievements, and he was
achieved at being an accomplished poet. He had 3 famous stories Palla Huarcana,
Margarita Shirt, and Worse than Callia.3 Mas malo que Calleja. A story of cruelty and
racism unfold with the telling's of the origin of the saying worse that Calleja 4 Manuels
best art work is Peruvian Traditions. Manuel was influenced by Edgar Allan Poe to write
different types of story.

The second reason is that Peru has beautiful landmarks such as The Sanctuary
of Las Nazarenes. The Sanctuary of Las Nazarenes is an 18th century church is located
in Tacna, it was built in 1771.5 There is a painting of the Lord of Miracles that all the
pilgrims came to see. A slave had worked very hard to paint this picture of the Lord of
Miracles. Inside of the Sanctuary there is a cathedral and a government palace. Enjoy
the lively atmosphere as you walk around the adjoining street. 6 The Sanctuary of Las
Nazarenes is dedicated to the Lord of Miracles.
The third topic is that Peru is a magnificent country is because of the exports. Coffee is
a main export in Peru, and it is also one of the top 10 coffee producing countries. 7.Silver
is also one of the main exports of Peru. 8Peru is the 2nd largest producer of asparagus
after China.9Zinc is the worlds third largest producer in Peru during 2012. 10Copper,
world third largest producer in 2012 11Peru is a large producer of many exports which
help their country. It is also very helpful to other countries when they have to give their
export to the countries in need.

Peru is a small country with great values that can help other countries. to summarize,
Peru has authors have helped tell the wonderful stories of Peru. The exports help keep
Peru going as a country and other countries by giving them some of the exports. The
beautiful landmarks help the country become an attraction for all the tourists. In
conclusion, Peru is a magnificent country that should be ranked number one on a global
awareness list!
