 Work Experience

SD/BD Video Compressionist

3/2002 - Present Warner Bros /GDMX, Los Angeles, CA
 Encode and Analyze SD/VC1/VOD/HD Compliant Digital Video for quality
assurance before being combined with all of elements to make a completed DVD.
Capture SD and BD video by using Digital Rapids Stream Enterprise software and
the Panasonic HD Cam, D5, and ½ digital tape deck .Responsible for managing
various projects and verifying bit rates, resolution size, filenames and source tape to
the client’s specification. Cut checking raw AVI / YUV file using Analyze It software,
Sync check both the HD down conversion master tape and the HD Cam to verify
30fps to 24fps time code before capturing process takes place. Chapter stop list
creation along with compression tests to establish an average bit rate. Create
Chapter Stop Lists from 30fps HD down conversion to 24fps for Blu -Ray
compression.
