Job Description:
We are seeking a candidate with an understanding of the core concepts of impact/ESG (Environmental,
Social & Governance) investing and the dynamics of its evolving landscape, as well as a strong desire to
become a professional with deep sector knowledge of impact investing across asset classes.
The candidate should have a unique balance of strong analytical and organizational skills along with an
equal strength in networking and relationship management.
Ideally, the candidate has a strong initial aptitude of the markets. Ideal experience would include
evaluating investment strategies, external fund managers and various investment products across asset
classes, especially in the impact/ESG space.
The candidate will have both leading and supporting roles in the due diligence and monitoring efforts of
impact/ESG related funds and direct deals. The candidate will also be involved in Fiinovations hub for
impact investing including active management of a database of investment opportunities, recent
literature, and industry contacts. Networking with investors, managers, organizations, and thought leaders
in the impact investment space will be critical, as will be attending various industry conferences and
developing a network of like-minded investors.
In addition to covering assigned areas, as an integrated part of the research team, the candidate will gain
exposure to a wide range of investment topics. The candidate will also work closely with our portfolio
management team to understand and execute on client specific mandates for impact investing.

Major responsibilities include:

Create investment write-ups and quarterly summaries on assigned funds

Manage database of impact investment opportunities, networks, organizations, and literature,

and maintain best practices to keep current

Assist Fiinovations Portfolio Management team in meeting client needs within the impact space
and work to enhance processes and tools to better identify and evaluate the best impact
opportunities for each client

Coordinate calls, visits, reviews, subscriptions/redemptions and database archives for assigned
funds
Develop a strong network within the impact community and participate in industry events
Participate in daily market update meeting and news analysis

Present findings and recommendations on existing holdings and new opportunities to investment
Committee

Desired Qualifications:

4-6 years of experience in the investment industry with direct experience in the impact/ESG
(Environmental, Social & Governance) investing sector. Investment management
experience through internships and/or full time roles is a plus

Either an undergraduate degree or an advanced degree (title and compensation will

be commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Solid base of knowledge of the impact/ESG investment landscape
Initial aptitude of the financial markets
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized and proactive
Strong analytical skills
Willingness to travel as needed
Willingness to assist in all areas of a growing business as needed
