Form the shapes as they sing the song.
1) Pupils listen to the song entitled Happy Shapes to
the tune of Baa Baa Black Sheep.
2) Teacher and pupils sing the song.
3) Teacher asks pupils to find out the shapes from the
lyrics.
4) Teacher asks pupils to talk about things related to the
shapes they learnt.
5) Pupils sing the song again.
6) The students are asked to form the shapes as they
sing the song. [collaborative work]
Take home project:
Print out the pictures of everyday objects that they can find
and labels the shapes that they see. [project based learning]
