Newsletter No. 1 5 February 2010

Welcome
A very warm welcome to all of the 2010 parent and student
community. We have 580 students at the start of the year and
the school has been a very busy place since Tuesday.

I have met many new students and many returning students

and there is a great deal of excitement and happiness with new
classes, classmates and meeting new teachers.

If your son or daughter comes home with a concern, please do

contact the class teacher or Mrs Kerrie Marks, the lead teacher
for Year 8, or Mr Lynton De Kock, the lead teacher for Year 7.

Car Park – Home time Pick Up Points
If you are collecting your child after school by car, you have
three pick up point options: Queen St, Edinburgh St and Harris
St. Students are allowed to cross the field and go out the
Harris St gate. Please do not collect your child from the staff
and visitors car park on Queen Street. This is actually an out
of bounds area for students and can easily become congested
at home time.
