Karen Bruce is an independent minded local councillor who stands up
for local people and always puts your interests before those of town
hall bureaucrats or party politics.
Just days after being elected she had to stand up to the council to
save Dolphin Manor care home. Shes stood up to the council and the government and won to save Rothwell re station and this month celebrated
saving Windmill youth and community centre from closure.
Karen Bruce works closely with Cllr David Nagle and is helped by your
local Labour team who are from every walk of lifepeople just like you:
nurses, retired, sales managers, self-employed, barristers and ex-miners.
Karen is a full-time councillor and lives in Rothwell with her husband
Stuart and her seven-year old daughter who attends a local school.
The video and this newsletter highlight some of the things Karen has
achieved over her last four years of serving the community and some of
the things she wants to achieve if you vote for her in the local elections.
