Behold! Here comes Rev. Mothy Varkey.
In every house his praises were chanted
For he was no less than a modest
prodigy
Perth Marthoma had, indeed, won the
monopoly.
Since then, Mothy Achens been worth
its weight in gold
For he is different from the usual cleric
mould,
Time began to witness some change
He was not one with a limited range.
A pious man with variegated interests
Blessed by the Almighty with a broad
spectrum intellect
Revolutionizing the biblical teachings
and holy writ
While not withholding his dry humour
and quick wit

His teachings were a difference for his

congregation to gain.
Making his little parish to learn and laugh
like a drain.
He is our Achen of all trades,
Whose mastery never fades,
As his qualities are endless without a
bend,
From skilled oratory to sportsmanship to
blend
Smashing his racquet to winning a goal
He has always given his heart and soul.
Amongst all this, he burnt the midnight
oil
And with sheer fortitude, grit and toil
He widened his ideology
Earning a title of Doctor in Theology.
Dear Achen, you have been our icon
A conscientious guide with a beacon
Of not having you in our midst
Will create a deep dark abyss
You have been a vital key
Which no one would disagree!
Achen, you are our treasure
Wishing you the best in life beyond
measure.

PRAYER POINTS

Pray for our Parish, Vicar and the members;

Pray for our new Vicar Rev. Biju George for his preparation to travel to Perth and
his ministries. Pray for his visa procedures to be completed in time;
Praise God for Gods faithfulness since 2006 to exist as a Parish in Perth and
enabling us to celebrate yet another Parish day;
Pray for the Church Convention - for all our members and friends to attend and
for Gods anointing on the speaker Rev. Alex Nathan;
Pray for all our Parish Organisations and for all their activities;
Pray for all students and teachers in our Parish;
Pray for our Sunday School kids and teachers;
Pray for those who have been affected by the recent redundancies and that You
will open new doors for them as they seek employment;
Pray for the young couples in our church as they settle down and guide them as
they start a new life together;
Pray for all the mothers in our church and those preparing to be mothers
acknowledging them all for their contributions and goodness to each one of us;
Pray for this nation and the government;
Pray for world peace and for all war torn countries; and
Pray for the kids and youth of our parish for them to have a blessed and God
fearing future.

YOUTH FELLOWSHIP
Youth Fellowship meets fourth Saturdays of every month at 04:00pm at the
residence of a parish member.
Encourage all youngsters of our parish to participate in the activities of the
Youth Fellowship. For further details, please contact Ms Shauna Rivya Jacob

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Regular Sunday School on all Sundays before the Holy Communion Service.
