Wings Corporation was founded on 1948 in Surabaya, Indonesia. Over the

last fifty years this company has grown from a small home industry into a market
leader employing thousand of people with factories strategically located in Jakarta
and Surabaya.
The goal at Wings Corporation is producing International Quality Products
at economical prices.The first production started with the manufacturing of
handmade green laundry soap. With this product they were able to successfully
penetrate competitive market in the late 1940's. Soon after, they introduced a
whole new product - cream detergent. Being one of the pioneers of this new
product, they are proud to say that this day cream detergent is still the most
popular type of multi-purpose.

1949 - Ferdinand Katuari and Harjo Sutanto establish Fa Wings,
manufacture of soap scale home industries, through a system of door to
door.
1950 - Soap Wings began to be marketed.
1971 - Building companies soap and detergent brand Economics.
1980 - Brand Wings Biru and Dangdut released to the market.
Established PT Unggul Indah Cahaya, alkybenzene manufacturers, raw
material for detergent, along with some inverstor.
1983 - Established PT Multipack.
1986 - Developing PT Petrocentral (the integration of vertical horizontal).
1989 spreads ceramics bussiness; PT Adyabuana Persada, brand Milan
and Hercules. And in the field of finance; Economic Bank. Alliance with
Lion Corporation established PT Lionindo Jaya.
1990 - Brand Extra Active and detergents So Klin.
1991 - Fa Wings renamed PT Surya and established PT Duta Lestari
Sentratama.
