REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION FOR PRATIQUE BY MASTERS OF VESSELS

It has been noted that many masters of vessels do not apply for pratique in the
correct manner. The
following is a guide that should be followed by the master.
1. Only the master of a vessel may apply to Port Health Services for free pratiq
ue.
2. The master shall apply for pratique between 24 and 48 hours before arrival at
the Pilot Station.
3. When applying for pratique, the following information must be submitted by th
e master of the vessel:
Fax the following to Port Health = 1] format form, voyage memo, crew list and Sa
nitation cert/ derat.
