WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE
DESCRIPTION

MoyaProof WS2 is a two component acrylic co-polymer based flexible

cementitious waterproofing slurry coat. It is supplied in ready to use kit.
MoyaProof WS2 provides excellent adhesion, flexibility, and durability.

USES

MoyaProof WS2 is suitable for many waterproofing applications, such as

swimming pools, balconies, bathrooms, wet areas, basements and as a
economical roof waterproofing system in damp conditions where other
systems cannot be used.

Toxicity
SURFACE PREPARATION

: Non toxic

Surface should be clean and sound, free of dust, loose particles, grease, oil,
primers from previous membrane systems or bitumen. Bitumen or primers
should be removed by shotblasting or mechanical means. Spalled concrete
should be repaired by cutting to sound concrete and patching with ReCon GP.
Special recommendations for critical areas of application:
It is recommended to use Conmix ConTape at all critical areas such as
intersections, corner joints, floor/wall junctions, gaps (where there is an
expected structural / thermal movements), peripherial areas of pipelines before
the application of waterproofing membrane to ensure better waterproofing to
structures like swimming pool, balconies, toilets, terrace slab etc... Before
fixing the Conmix ConTape, the gaps and corners should be filled and levelled
with polymer modified mortar (ReCon GP).

MIXING

MoyaProof WS2 is supplied in premeasured units. Slowly add powder to the

liquid and mix to a lump free smooth consistency. Do not add water or rework
a stiffened mix by adding water. Mix sufficient material to use within 30-40
minutes.

APPLICATION

Saturate the concrete surface with clean water. Apply the first coat while the
surface is still damp with no free standing water. Apply using a short stiff
bristle brush or roller at a minimum thickness of 1.0 mm per coat. Leave for
2-6 hours, apply second coat in perpendicular direction to the first coat. The
second coat can be finished by rubbing down with a soft sponge. Spray or
trowel application is acceptable provided the mixing ratio is adjusted to achieve
the right consistency. It is recommended that the application over hollow
blocks or highly porous areas to be coated with minimum 3 coats at total
thickness of 3mm.

CURING

MoyaProof WS2 should be protected from high wind & intense sunshine.
Keep moist for 3 - 4 days after application. Protect from wind, heat and rain
until fully cured.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Shelf Life

12 months from date of production, if stored properly in

original unopened packing in dry conditions and away from
sunlight and scorching heat.

Packaging

Part A + B = 25 kg Set.

Cleaning

Clean all equipments and tools with water.
