Teachers are exposed to childrens learning disabilities such as dyslexia and
autism

Literacy awareness
Participants are shown the video of TAARE ZAMEEN PAR and asked to make the
Ecological Framework in groups
Participants are also shown the writings of students with learning difficulties (LD)

Emergent literacy
- Participants are taught how to use Language facilitation technique to help
students with LD such as Expansion and Sentence recast
- Teachers are also asked to give time for the LD students to think
Teachers are shown slides about examples of teaching and listening activities

Phonological awareness
- Teachers are taught about guidelines on how to teach Letter- Sound
correspondence
- Teachers are also taught on rhyme and alliteration
- Teachers are also taught about reading instruction for special needs pupils

Revisiting phonics
- Teachers are exposed on blending and segmenting technique

I was absent due to my knee concussion

LESSON PLAN TO BE MADE AFTER THE SCREENING,


FOR REMEDIAL TEACHING .
ONE LESSON PLAN but with 2 different objectives,
2 different activities and
2 different impact/reflection.
Objective 1 for MAINSTREAM students
Objective 2-for your LD student (meaning those kids who were eligible for LINUS BI)
Activities :
- First, refer to the textbook
- Then, refer to the Module, please find something that related to the topic that
-

you are teaching on that day.


So,activities will be different too.
However,if the Module cannot cater the need of your student,please adopt &
adapt to suit your students need.

2 different Impact/reflection
-1st for normal
-2nd for LINUS group.
-If the objective cannot be achieved,the same lesson for LINUS should be conducted
again during next lesson.
-Module for LINUS is meant to help the pupils to acquire the construct ( boleh lepas
LINUS).
-Repeat until they mastered the skills.
-Selagi tak capai,Repeat it.
