The Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory (LAPAC) is proud to
announce the American Youth Performing Arts Scholarship. This first year
tuition scholarship is available to high school seniors or recent graduates
who have already distinguished themselves in the performing arts at the high
school or community level, and wish to pursue a two year degree in Acting
or Screenwriting, as positioning for a career in the performing arts.
From its roots in New York City Theater (1988), LAPAC opened its doors
in Santa Monica, CA in 1996, and offers Associate Degrees in acting and
screenwriting, attracting worldwide talent to its campus on Santa Monicas
Third Street Promenade. This scholarship is intended to encourage and
nurture our American youth to be part of that international experience, in the
movie and entertainment capital of the world.
To apply for scholarship consideration, candidates must fill out the attached
application. Applications and winners will be reviewed and announced
quarterly. Please note our start dates are: Fall October 2015 ; Winter January 2016 ; Spring - April 2016 ; Summer July 2015.
