FOR ACCOUNTS OFFICER/SR. OFFICER/MANAGER


Job Responsibilities:
Bangladesh Alliance for Women Leadership (BDAWL) is seeking to recruit a suitable person for the
position of Accounts Officer/Sr. Officer/Manager. The duties and responsibilities for this are:
Maintaining the accounts for BDAWL programs and activities
Maintaining all financial paperwork for BDAWL programs and activities
Assisting in budget creation for BDAWL programs and activities
Liaising with finance departments of donor agencies and government
Ensuring that BDAWLs financial policies and actions comply with rules and regulations of
relevant donor agencies; NGO Affairs Bureau; NBR; and other government or statutory body
Providing other assistance as required for BDAWL programs and activities
Ideal Candidate:
In addition to the being able to perform the work listed above, the ideal candidate should also have
done some work with non-profits and be aware of the laws and regulations governing NGOs. If not,
they should be willing to brush up on those particular areas.
BDAWL team members regularly interact with senior government officials and members of
international organizations/foreign missions and therefore need to have excellent English and
Bengali communication skills, both spoken and written.
BDAWL is a small operation and accounts work will not take up the full time. The candidate should
therefore be willing to work with other team members on program activities as and when required.
Salary and Benefits:
Net monthly salary for this position will be in the range of tk.15,000 to tk.35,000. Other benefits are
as specified in BDAWL employee handbook. Salary and benefits may be negotiable for exceptional
candidates.
