Definition of Polysemy
Polysemy (pron.: /plsmi/ or /plsimi/ from Greek:, poly-, "many" and
sma, "sign") is the capacity for a sign (e.g., a word, phrase, etc.) or signs
to have multiple related meanings. A polyseme is a word or phrase with
different, but related senses.

Defnition of Homonimy
The word homonym comes from the Greek (homonumos), meaning
