Generic datasource enhancement
2) If no record is coming in dso then what u do ,
Sol: Activate the request then check in active data table
DSO have 3 tables
1. new data table - before activation data contain, after activation no data.
2. active data table - after activation data contain - check the query symbol on request
3. change log table - it holds changed and modified records it will maintain 0RECORDMODE function.
only active data table available for reporting.
changed records will get form the change log table.
Possible reasons: 1) Request in DSO not activated
2) on DTP monitor if some filter is applied or Only retrieve last request is checked
3) Delta data might not be present
Solution: 1) RSA1 DSO- right clickmanagerequest tabselect the loaded request click activate activate
data in dso window comes up click start button. once this is done data from new table will move to active table and
will be available for reporting
