Wolves baseball team wins


home game against South Nod.
ANDREW THOMAS, CENTER FRONT - Hit a homerun
in the Wolves game against South Nodaway on April 7 at

The East Atchison Wolves


Baseball Team hosted South
Nodaway on Tuesday, April
7, 2015, at the Tarkio South
City Ballpark. The back and
forth scoring ended when
the Wolves scored three on a
South Nodaway error in the
fourth inning. At the end of
the game, the varsity Wolves
claimed the win 9-7.
Andrew Thomas was a
powerhouse, throwing 123
pitches with seven strikeouts and hitting a home run
for the Wolves. He also had a
single and four RBIs in the
win.
Other stats include:
Dylan Jeffords - one
walk, one run, seven putouts, and two errors
Jase Barnes - one run,
one strikeout, and three
put-outs
Garrett Ball - one RBI,
two strikeouts, and two errors
Brody Cooper - two
runs, one stolen base, and
one strikeout
Trevor Brown - one hit,
one RBI, one walk, and two
strikeouts
Shae DeRosier - two
hits, one walk, one strikeout,
and seven putouts

The jr. varsity Wolves
also played a game against
South Nodaway, but lost 0-9.
Jase Barnes had the only
hit for the Wolves. Noah
Brooks had one walk and

Garrett Ball had one stolen


base. Luis Villagrana and
Trevor Brown pitched for
the Wolves. Brown gave up
three hits and four runs and
had three walks. Villagrana
gave up three hits and five
runs and had two walks. Dylan Jeffords had three putouts and Jase Barnes and
Dayton Murry had one each.
Villagrana also had one error.

JH tracksters
compete in
Mound City
The East Atchison Wolves
Jr. High Track Team competed in their first event of
the season on Tuesday, April
7, 2015. The kids traveled to
Mound City, MO, to compete
in the Mound City Quad.
The Wolves placed 2nd as a
team with a score of 71 behind Mound Citys 89 and in
front of Rock Ports 59. The
Lady Wolves placed 3rd as
a team with a score of 37
behind Rock Ports 83 and
Mound Citys 71 and in front
of Nodaway-Holts 37.
