At the start of the training workshop, we ensure that all participants are informed about all
the relevant safety regulations. In addition, participants are made familiar with the operating manual and the Visumatic crane control and visualisation system.
The practical part of the course involves travelling the crane and coordinating hand
movements and the eye for controlling hoisting, slewing and luffing operations. Particular
emphasis is placed on keeping the load under control. In the practical exercises, normal,
unusual and emergency situations are simulated. A further training module focuses on the
particular features of cargo handling with the hook and spreader. During all practical sessions the participants learn handy hints and tricks from the experienced trainer resulting
in increased handling performance.
